I like it, it may not be clan but the fact that its new and refreshing (I.E never seen it in a MW game before is awesome).

Design workover is excellent guys keep up the good work!

Good. 70 tons, all direct-fire armament, standard speed... Not much armor, but can be up-armored at the expense of jump jets if needed (if there is a jumping variant in the game as written, not only 1X as drawn). Just good.

It definitely fills a needed role, though I admit that I would have chosen the Orion for that role over the Cataphract.

I do like the use of a Merc Corps (Waco Rangers) paint scheme, though!

Also, the XL version (-3D) starts at 13.5M C-Bills - almost 150% the cost of an AS6-D Atlas. At 6M C-Bills, the CTF-1X is probably a better starting point, and I do have to say I'd like to try the combination of a PPC and an AC/10 on the field (though I'd like some crit-seeker SRMs to follow them up, not just MLasers!) The look of that model, though... a little different. Might be just the thing for some of the Marauder fans, though... ;)

Sigh, this game is starting to do the same to me when picking up an automobile catalog with new models - you start to dream and wonder where you will turn up the money for it ;) - these announcments are a real torture.

On my wishlist

Now that's a mech that seems more like an iconic heavy role to me than the Dragon (large Cavalry) or a Catapult (Support).

It can keep up and even outmaneuver the two trooper mediums, and it's got better firepower and armor as well.

I see it as a first rate Trooper. Something that would be good to build a large part of your force out of.
