Salvage is less than 20k because everyone cores each other and destroys arms and such. If you were to leg everyone, your salvage would be more like 60k-80k.

I am aware of this, me and a few friends used to 4 man drop and all run dual AC20 K2's and we would have 2 left leg focus firing mechs and 2 right leg focus firing mechs and between the 4 of us we could leg a atlas in less than 4 seconds. Wasnt alot of fun to play games like that but you are right salvage sure adds up fast that way.

High damage means you're a sloppy killer imo....

Well, when i look at the poll and the values my feeling is this:
1 - Its either a very efficient sharpshooter or a leacher.
2 - much damage, few kills/assists, pretty inefficient.
3 - even more damage, 4 assist, could be an average missileboat (i hope its bcs otherwise its not better than 2).

So in the end i go for 1 saying its a sharpshooter.

I think relative pings comes into accuracy a great deal.

West Pacific players usually ping over 250. Compared with average US players pinging 50-80.

Makes a huge difference in accuracy in the same game.

That's why I prefer the time the US is in bed, and the Europeans are up. Ping differential is less, resulting in higher accuracy.

I must have been sloppy, because just now I just had a 692 damage game in my -4P. All heavies and assaults to shoot at on Caustic and I was probably the only heat-efficient thing out there.

This poll is pointless in isolation.

But in it limited form my answer would be that they are equally impressive, and are results that I have had with my dragon in different matches.

250 damage, 4 kills, 2 assists - Targeted weak spots with maybe a couple of unintentional kill steals.
600 damage, 2 kills, 1 assist - Damage is a bit high for only 1 assist.
800 damage, 4 assists - Normally 6 - 7 assists, and cursing my team mates for kill stealing from me.

The damage figures for the 2md and 3rd options are a little high so my end scores look more like...

300 damage, 4 kills, 2 assists
450 damage, 2 kills, 3 assists
600 damage, 1 kill, 6 assists

It all depends on the kind of mech you're playing.. for an lrm boat damage is less impressive then on a hunchback. And on a hunchback kills can be less impressive because you can easily mop op remains of the enemy team if you stay alive long enough..

All in all I'd say more damage is most profitable for the team so that's preferable.

I'm going to say the first one is the most impressive, because it looks like the player tag teamed them with someone else, also they enguaged 6 enemies.

The middle one looks like an average player who was good at putting fire on the enemies but lucked out and got some last hits on things.

The last one looks like an LRM boat, high damage but not focused enough to net kills.

yeah i get quite a few surprise kills with my hunchy (ML and a token srm/ssrm loadout) when i go over to assist someone already locked in a fight. couple shots at the right time and the other guy dies. most of the time i'm 0-1 kills with 3-7 assists. barring getting stomped that is. i have lousy aim.

anyway i voted sniper option 1.
