Looks like we are putting a load test on the forums today. Is it loading a little slow sometimes for anyone else?

This site was wonderfully designed and optimized. I have never encountered a lag issue. And if I have? A simple refresh fixed it.

Well, maybe not the site, but I have been having trouble specifically with the edit feature today. Maybe I just need to proof read before posting more. lol

Ah, I see. Yeah, 'tis always better to just proof read first, before posting. Just makes it easier for yourself ;)

Everything I know about code I think I forgot about 10 years ago. I am just making simple observations from a user perspective. Never had any problems with the forums before today and never saw this many people on at one time, so my natural conclusion was that large number of users plays havoc with the edit feature. However, without having any real data to back up my claim I will admiot that it is purely speculation on my part. :(

Maybe Murphy's law? ;)
Also, speculate, the data that I can access not give great knowledge;)
I did I would not be surprised if any works on the server coincided with high activity on the forum. On my nose it was a query to the database, not a file upload or too many users(possibly the worse case, but did not think [u] decisive [/ u] the impact of)... This explains the short lag.
But... this is my speculation :(
