No one is guaranteed to get into the closed beta, so you might get left out, you might not.

Open beta is a different story, I think everyone gets in on that.

Near as I can figure out, if your profile is complete, beta profile is active (box has been checked), and you have input your system specs, you should be good to go.

None of know what criteria they are looking for though. For example, I have a notebook with a GTX 560m graphics processor.
They might want to focus on desktops until more bugs are identified and patched before they include more diverse hardware in the beta trial.

Total speculation on my part though. Just my two filthy lucre.

Only a tiny percent of registered users will get in the beta over the next couple months.

Most people are in a random lottery, just know you pretty much won't win.
You can P2W in June for July ;) (I jest)

Yea, the only thing we can do now, is sit on our hands and wait.

Gte yourself in the mindset that you won't make the list so that when the time comes you won't feel disappointed.

I respectfully disagree, the Law of Attraction is our friend.

I imagine they will choose closed BETA participants who have computer with a broad range of capabilities - from a XP machine running 1.6GHz with on-board video to the upper end of the serious gaming freaks who overclock and have multiple video cards just because they can have to have such things.

I bet that Mac fanboys who know how to dual-boot may find themselves an extreme minority, if at all.
