Considering everything I have been hearing recently from other players I have a simple question. Feel free to add reasons.

people leave but they always come back for patch dates. problem is they can't bring out content fast enough to retain the small percentage of players that actually leave between content periods

You forgot the "probably", "maybe" and "probably not" options. This question is WAY to open for yes/no answers.

You've been seeing the negative of the game on the forums. It's like watching the nightly news. All you hear is the negative. If you took that as the state of the world, then there is a killer outside every door.

There are no other free online mech games (hawken too fpsy). If you like mech games you have no other option. Since exteel was closed there has been a huge drought for online mech games and my thirst will still need quenching past the next 3 months to make up for the years of nothing. Besides I like the direction the game is going. I have only been playing a month and a half and it has improved consistently and timely since then.

TBH I don't read the forums much, as can be seen by my post count. This question is based on what I hear on TS from players in team. Forum posts will always attract a sufficient number of trolls and people with fixed viewpoints - I have factored that into my expectations. 3 months was chosen as sufficient to make probability curve moot - if your game experience for the next three months matched your experience at this time - would you still be playing in three months ?

I've been playing since Closed Beta and the game has been getting better. I'm in no rush for a F2P game to be close to 100%. I'm happy just to have a new MechWarrior game at all.

Where's an option for "how the hell do I know, but it's going to depend a lot on new content and community warfare?"

Playing?
Yes

PAYING?
Maybe.
I will need to decide if a premium sub is worth it after my founders time expires.

Real life permitting, yes I'll be playing. Let's just say that if I'm playing ANY video/computer games then, I'll be playing MWO.

If the game didn't change/improve at all in 3 months? No, I probably wont keep playing, I'd imagine I would simply get bored of the same thing over and over.

As for PAYING, they still haven't added enough for me to consider paying any money yet.

I'll play it now and then regardless of what the "state of play" is. What I won't do is spend any more money on it.

The way I play now is that I play until I get black screen, yellow screen, no minimap, or CTD, then I go play something else instead that doesn't have as many bugs. After a few days I come back and play a few more rounds of MWO.

There are just too many other games I can play where I don't run into bugs that ruin an entire round.

Oh, and don't bother saying "it is a beta." I don't care what label is applied to the current stage of development. It has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not a game is worth my time or my money.

Made some matches today but found out i had not realy the drive for it and was more annoyed than having fun.
Though this in no way means i stop playing anytime soon.

Based on the current rate of expansion, barring respawns or third person nonsense I will be here in three months.

I am already bored with what we have so far. But I keep playing though less often because I like the potential and want the game to succeed. As a comparison I was also in the Alpha of Hawken and only played a few times.

No.

I'm not playing as it is. I'll get back in when/if they get their act in order regarding stuff like ECM. I don't know how they managed to screw that up so badly considering the number of elementary game design principles they tossed out the window in order to implement it that way.

The stubbornness it takes to fail to see the problem once they saw what happened in 8v8 play is incredible.
