It's Thursday, and that means screenshot time!

Now I realise this shot is blurry, and it's clearly from a testmatch. That said, Ricky's 'T-Rex' Stalker is truly something to behold. Even armless it still is a very intimidating Mech (perhaps because it's armless.) Hope you guys like it too - let us know!

Also, we hope to see you in game this Friday for another twitch.tv event with the guys at NGNG!

If you have requests for future shots, let us know!

Cheers, The MechWarrior Online Team

Looking good.

Maybe a Spider next time? When you released the Cicada and Cataphract screenshots before they were released, it just made me that much more excited for those patches.

Speaking of blur - why all the mechs in motion look like this? Like they were vibrating or something like that.

Hmm. steam coming off it? Would be an interesting high heat effect.

I'd totally buy that camo spec if I didn't have to rebuy it every time I wanted to use it on the same chassis after using something else.

I bought it for my hunchy love it. I repainted twice before that learned my lesson. Each mech one paint job which sucks would love to be able to do multiple. But hey its PGI's call on stuff like that. Like the screenshot btw.

I think its smoke coming from the missing arm, but I still agree it would be neat to have more effects from building up lots of heat in cold environments.

Is this a hero mech of just a special painting?

Just to let some of you guys know that the Mechs DO steam when hot / overheated in the cold or in water.
Think it was added just before Christmas... Now Im waiting for Screen cracks and Cockpit sparks.

why no arms?

all other screenshots have mech's parts intact.

perhaps PGI thinks the stalker arms look silly. i wish it didn't come with armears ;)

I wish that blur were removed, its ridiculous to see 100% any mech is in motion.

Agreed. The payment model they're using for the paint schemes is the most asinine thing I've seen in a F2P game. And I play a LOT of F2P games. I think whoever is making the decisions on MWO's business model drank from the same Kool-Aid of /fail that BioWare's SWtOR business manager did. Hopefully they only drank the one cup, although 2 fail execs/1 cup is probably already too much.

Antimissile System.

The idea of this screenshot is cool and the painting scheme is certainly fantastic, but the screenshot itself was poorly executed. First, the blur. Second, the FPS stuff in the upper left corner.

Obviously a fps counter was turned on intentionally to mock poor 15 fps players.

honestly guys..i like your Stalker design...BUT...get the frakkin´upper half BIGGER...it´s all in all too tiny, like you took the wrong scale or smth. i mean, it´s a "big bad assault mech", and i can watch into it´s (way too small) cockpit when i´m in my phract... upper chassis is way too tiny...

We haven't gotten a picture featuring multiple Battlemech's In quite a while.

Think you guys can whip up something radical??
