...I'll be damned if I can find it.

Why isn't the HBK-4N Hunchback included in the HBK variants?

I think it would be a worthy addition and given the awesome appearance of HBK series to date, I'd be compelled to drive one.

It's mostly complete with the standard chassis, yet distinctive in appearance.

Drove one this past week in a Megamek game and enjoyed it.

Maybe make it a "Hero" variant...or not, I'd just like to see it in game.

I like the 4N, but it may be a bit much in MWO. 1 ballistic, 4 laser (or is it 5) and 2 missle ports... Gauss, 2 SSRMs, 4 Medium lasers. Might be tough to fit all of that on the Hunchback, but maybe not.

And that hardpoint layout is a lot like a Centurion. I think it would be great to have it available, but I can see why they devs might be a bit hesitant to put it in.

It only has 2 lasers.

We have five HBK variants already, isn't that enough for a bit?

Ridiculous question as the answer is obvious by the very existence of this thread...

Personally, I'd rather see more 'mechs than new variants of already existing 'mechs - especially the one with the most variants already.

I'd also prefer be driving a Trebuchet this month as well.

Instead, we're getting the Spider...

Also, I believe the Awesome and Stalker have the same number of variants as the Hunch/Swayback; adding the HBK-4N would make your "most variants" statement true. The Founders version of the HBK-4G shouldn't count as it only has a premium bonus.

However, I still think it worthwhile to include the HBK-4N (and return the CN9-AH for that matter) for several reasons.

Seems like it would be relatively simple, but what the hell do I know.

More mechs and new maps would be appreciated...with the HBK-4N slipped in with that update.

And for the love of Blake include the "Center Legs To Torso" button already.

I'm greatly looking forward to the Spider. The Trebuchet, not so much.

And just for the record, I'm not really against another HBK variant - as long as it doesn't take time away from getting other 'mechs into the game.
