Traditionally, that role in Mechwarrior is taken by dropships; that should happen, but only as part of a campaign/mission system.

Would be awesome to see npc dropships/tanks/infantry to make you feel like you're part of a war. Massive robo-godzilla also sounds amazing.

That would be assaulting a DropShip. There's no need for Godzilla or Voltron here.

I'd like to see that kind of mission, along with the kind of missions best used to populate a PvE game. I have no hope of anything like that in this game, even given a year or two. They've come this far without being able to include such basic functionality as built-in VOIP capability. I don't know how the game made it to closed beta without that, let alone to the point of selling product.

Considering their pace of less than one new mech per month, less than one new map per quarter (the night and snow versions just don't count), and glacial improvements to things like netcode/stability/bugs this game won't be where the devs want for years. It won't ever have the amount of content you saw in 007 GoldenEye for the N64.

Funny is that the "Die Hard PvP Player" will say the opposite and its not that wrong.
Though a significant amount of PvPers usually fail to understand that they kill their meat b4 its grown up and be proud of doing so while their game is suffering from it.

BTW - Here is the must have song for all "Hula Girl Mechs":

Just like league of legends and counterstrike. Total failures.

Godzilla is not the answer.

Bacon is the answer. Bacon is always the answer.

False.

Furthermore, this is not an MMO. Please stop trying to make it into one.

I think this would be seriously awesome. You get one mech and get you own squad of tanks and troops to command.

Dude...I spotted this in a screenshot last year! The devs are way ahead of you on this one!

Godzilla was reseen. :P

So, what happens if one puts the "Unseen" against the "Reseen"? Just what would be expected... :(

We need a PvE part. That is where something like Godzilla or a giant Transformermech
comes into play. A group / pug up to 16 player fight together vs that giant Monster in an
epic battle. You can add an hero mode, too. Worked well in other games.

You could even improve the Pug vs Premade battles. If there is a pure Pug on one side
just add 1 Godzilla or a Transformer mech to the Pug group - i would pay another 120$
just to see that in game.

as a 7 year fan of mechwarrior i have to say that is that is the best idea yet, though i think it needs that Godzilla song by blue oyster cult you will laugh your a$$ off if you hadn't heard it before.

What...

exactly, would you laugh at,

while listening to the cult's homage to Tokyo's Curse?

You know history shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man don't you?
Serious business.
