Where Is The Content?

It would be cool to see a mechwarrior world online with pve, quests, storyline, content, etc.
I understand it is still in beta, but this game could be so much cooler if it had about 80percent more content in it =/

Small dev team and time. I believe are the two biggest factors. Yes the game can get stale after a bit, but I enjoy it regardless. There is lots of content planned. But this is not a AAA title, so we just have to be patient.
EDIT: I would suggest getting some friends within the game, makes for a nice social aspect along with the chance to sync drop against each other and destroy one another. Learning a pilots skills and using them against him and exploiting his weaknesses is hella fun. Especially when you get to joke around and rub it in after.

Long term plans? Pull your head out of the clouds for a min and tell me about the long term plans for CW and how long ago that information came to you.
They haven't even hired a lead netcode developer yet. You know, the person that is supposed to lead a team of netcode developers to fix the game. Go look at their website. Maybe you can apply and make some "plans" actually happen.
Keep drinking the kool-aid kid. The majority of players are moving on because there is no new content.

Have any proof that the majority of players are moving on? I see new people and the same people every day. PGI keeps reporting gains in playerbase whenever it is brought up. The only people that seem to be leaving are the people that convinced themselves this game would be something it was never promised to be or have no understanding of what is actually going on with the game.
Also, games don't need deep long term plans. Look at LoL, hugely popular only 4 total maps and just adding champions at about 1 per month. Look at WoT, just adding tanks and some maps, no super goal or anything. The type of game this is isn't about some sort of goal at the end of the tunnel. It ias about adding content (which they are at a good rate) fixing bugs (they've made progress on the netcode despite lacking a lead in it)
The plans for CW haven't changed, so why would they tell us the same thing that they have said numerous times?

What I'm taking what I know and what I'm told and what I observe. Better than speculating and claiming things with no proof to back it up while coming up with some sort of conspiracy that so many of the people claiming the game is dieing do. BTW, that type of attitude doesn't help the game at all. It actually hurts the game, so you are hurting a game that you supposedly want to be successful.
So please, if you have actual proof that this game is dieing please post it.

My proof is pretty anecdotal, but all three of my group playing, do not play any more.
Obviously this is not scientific, but I will also point out that PGI has made no comment on CW in some time, and has actually officially stated they will not comment on CW.
The content has been coming at a glacial pace, and bugs persist. I sure do want this game to succeed, but I don't think PGI has the chops to deliver anything above MVP.
I was in the tribes beta and frankly PGI makes hirez look very professional, and that doesn't seem good to me.

Content is coming faster than most games crank out content. PGI hasn't commented on CW because they don't need to. If they have nothing to update us with why comment. Also they have said that they are still shooting for what they have outlined. They won't go into further details because they are still hashing the details out and don't want to promise some details that might change. This is very smart of them.
Oh and bugs persist throughout all games. That is nothing new and not something to be unexpected.

Words....
They don't mean more than mine. Oh, and pgi should comment on CW precisely because a lot of people believe they've dropped the idea or significantly reduced it's depth.
Their track record inspires no faith, this is why they seriously need to stay in contact with what fan base remains.

Where do I say anything means more than you? I'm simply saying that my observations come from face value rather than thinking that they are doing stuff that they aren't saying.
If they had dropped the CW, they would say they did or make an excuse rather than just say no comment. And yes they have said multiple times that they are still aiming for the detailed design. They won't and you shouldn't expect them to say the same thing to every thread that brings it up, because the info is there.
They stay in better contact with the player base than in any beta I've been in in the last 4 years. Everyday, when they aren't on vacation or on the weekends I can see them commenting on something. They have weekly Q&As (granted they don't always answer the pressing questions). They've been on fan made podcasts several times, they even have an entire areas dedicated to updating the community pretty dang often. I can't think of a beta that did in recent memory. Their communication with us is very good. Just people don't often agree with it and write it off, which is on the player not the dev.

Sorry but you will be getting none of that. PGI is here to cash in on a franchise name by utilizing the money generating method known as F2P. They aren't here to make a fun game or a good game.

Look, if people are leaving then hopefully devs will start doing more faster and better--that's not a bad thing...
If people aren't leaving, then obviously they like the game with its current pace of development, and I'll just shrug and go play another match. Speaking of...

Not trying to be rude but that is the worst thing they could do. Why wait until people have left to improve the game? That's counter to what they should be doing,

Not true - content production is virtually frozen. There was not a single really new map - released for the past 7 months. Next REALLY NEW map, Alpine, has been planned for release in the mid-February(and noone can guarantee that date won't be pushed back again). The Desert map, that was planned to be released in the next week - pushed back, to mid/end of March.

"they have nothing to update" - yeah, sure, i agree with you. As far as i remember, Russ promised that CW will start within 90 days after the Open Beta start. Well, Open Beta has started 63 days ago - less than a month remains to the dead-line, but devs can't give us ANY update on CW.
Who wants a bet with me that CW won't be released as promised? I even can bet that CW won't be released until the next summer...if ever.
