Can No Longer Adjust Brightness/contrast?

Do the option menu sliders for these two things no longer work? I remember changing them before (a few months ago), but I just reinstalled today and saw that Forest Colony Snow looked awfully bright, so I went to tone it down a bit and noticed that the sliders are just stuck at minimum and don't move. Any alternatives to changing the brightness?

They've never worked for me.

Yeah, it was way back in June that I used it I think, so early closed beta.
