The last weeks were rather hard. After Closed Beta things seemed to get worse: new bugs were introduced, the performance decreased, the development was very slow.
The last big December-patch improved a lot. But shows still old PGI-patterns. Best example, ECM: first they tell us how hard they are testing it to balance it. Then they release an obiously unbalanced ECM. Then: silence. Typical PGI-behavious.
PGI is really not the best developer on this planet. Sometimes they are even quite amateurish. The last patch gave me hope. But then I remember the time where every patch was one step forward and one step backward...
That they have stopped talking about Community Warfare worries me the most. And I agree that Clan-Mechs will be the real moneygrab.
It was unfortunately the same case for DHS.
Delayed, claims delay was for more testing, then released not working, then patched to not being DHS, while the community basically was left completely in the dark.
I'm not looking for reasons to hold over PGI's head, but its not an encouraging pattern they've set for themselves at all.
Clear patch notes, and better communication for stat fiends who enjoy the detail and help the community so much with their guides, these would eliminate a lot of the problems in itself.
Its very frustrating seeing how that isn't even tried. Instead we have the ugly episode with the CW discussions that have just made people even less confident.

Man, if PGI seems amateurish to you, you must not play many AAA titles.
EA titles?
Ubisoft titles?
Yeah....
Which is why I don't buy any more EA exclusive titles, and I seldom touch Ubisoft releases with a 10 foot pole. I know the way they operate, and I act accordingly.
Same thing with PGI, the way they've been doing things isn't changing for the better. Some of us voice our opinions.
Honestly, as many have mentioned, the one who's voiced his opinion in the most offensive and rude way in this thread is you. Ironic, as I said concerning your earlier post on us being a rude community.
