If Collisions Have To Be Removed Because They "can't Be Done Right" Yet...

And ECM
and Convergence.
Especially the last one. How the hell am I supposed to lead a target (with lag) by aiming in front of it, when my weapons feel like converging on the rock or the ground and not where he'll actually be?
Ugh.

Learn 2 play scrub. Also go join a team on TS, which will immediately solve your issues and cure Acne.

You forgot it's Beta.
Well, compared to Convergence, Collisions really seemed worse. Even though Convergence is working really bad.

I thought they were already effectively removed, thanks to the existence of ECM.

Nope, nopenopenopenope, all weapons with 0.5-1.5 sec lockon that basically work by "aim at something, hold M1 and circle it until it dies" while other people actually have to aim (not at their targets, of course, but in front of them, despite having good ping, because their opponent has like ~250ms and has netflix, utorrent, and pandora running at the same time to exploit horrid netcode in this game).
Of course we can't REALLY aim in front of them because of convergence needing you to focus on your target if you want your weapons to actually hit, so...

Just pretend that your computer is locked into firing them at center mass for the sure chance to hit, instead of limbs where the chance of deviation increases.

Hatchetman.

Or how about this:

Quite a lot of bullets for an AC/10...
Or the Axman. Or the Bucaneer. Or the Berserker.

Making Ac's direct fire was a good choice.
They could MAKE it look like a hail of bullets, but that will take away from Rotary AC's when we get them.
Either way. Good choice to help people not masters of the rules and Btech lore to determine what weapons are being used instead of being confused.

All of the oldschool drawings of the mechs look ******* bad. Bad. Thats why PGI has made it a point to have an awesome art team redesign every ******* mech. Which is why the Stalker looks like a stubby, heavy catapult and not like the hindenburg, between two bricks of ****, on legs.

THe art team really does good work on PGI. Too bad FASA didn't have money for people like that back then. Or maybe it was the lack of affordable software to make good art back then?

I was using Streaks when they couldn't damage the backs of an Atlas and everyone thought they sucked, even when they could damage the backs of an Atlas.
It took a while for people to appreciate reliable damage instead of the terrible spread of SRMS.
People are really feeling the Sting due to the current role of lights...ie. Invincible warrior gods circling you like buzzards sent by the Lord of Death.
