i was watching the trailer and i noticed that when the warhammer ducks from missile cover behind the building it does this very small movement that is like a partial crouch.

i was thinking, wouldn't it be awesome to have complete control of your legs in MW:O? like you can push certain button combinations to raise and lower your cockpit at different speeds. it would make for interesting uses of cover. of course the fast crouch we are used to should still be there.

Mech should automatically lean depending on the speed, just as people do. Same would go for high-impact hits.

But implementing actual balancing with automated recovery is fine too, MW4 hadn't too many actions to overwhelm the keyboard anyway.

That is one thing I'm wondering are we going to see a bit of a reconfiguring of the control scheme? I mean it's been almost 10 years since the last Mechwarrior game was released and from the looks of things they're going to try to give us a bit more control of the mech than previous games. If we're going to start changing stances to reduce profile and have a more effective use of cover then we might need a rework of the controls to allow for a greater degree of control.
