Ok, as a person who is currently taking part in two betas right now, considered non-releases. I want to know which of the two betas you guys have a better opinion of. There are no right or wrong answers, just our opinions.

As far as my opinion, I much prefer Mechwarrior online. Even though I spent $60 on it, it still doesn't feel like a waste. The War Z on the other hand, I spent $15 on, and I already feel like I spent to much. I can't even access the forums, since I had my IP Banned. Why you may ask. I have not idea. I have played twice, spending several minutes just running on terrain, then getting killed for my flashlight. To the best of my knowledge, I have posted no inappropriate material in hte forums. And have been much less critical of the game than most people. Just so you know, I do not cheat or hack, so that isn't the issue.
You could say that this is more about me ventting about that other game, but I also see it as a way of saying that we do not have it so bad here. The devs listen to us, don't ban us for no good reason, and I don't feel like I got robbed of my money. So, I would like to say, thank you to the devs of Mechwarrior Online for a good product. Even with it unfinished, this game is worlds apart from that other game.

Lets keep working together to improve this game, and help others to relise just how great a universe it is a part of.

I've not actually played WarZ, but I have played / am playing several other F2P open betas and generally speaking MWO is in a better place and is in spite of it's problems more fun to play so I always end up playing alot more MWO than anything else

MWO keeps getting compared to F2P games that have been around alot longer and compares badly, but compared with games that have been openly available for around the same amount of time, it's doing pretty well actually

I haven't played WarZ. But from what i've heard its abit rubbish. Want my opinion why? Good!

Because there aren't giant stompy robots with lasers. Zombie games have died down abit over the past year, just wait for Left4Dead 3 to be announced and people will go crazy again.

I have to say i am relieved though, from the post title I thought you we're going to mention that arcadey PoS Hawken.

I am in another Closed Beta as well. Luckily, it also has big Stompy Mechs with Lasers and stuff. It was not listed on the OP so I voted for MWO. :P

Well, I have not tried Hawken before, so I couldn't give it an accurate assesment. I do realise that The War Z isn't a game with giant stomppy robots, but it is another game in "Beta". They are charging for items, and (in my opinion) they are in much worse shape than MWO.
True, games with zombies are not as popular as they used to be, but even so, it is no excuse for the issues with that game.

what a comparison... the warZ is a rubbish alpha sandbox playground for griefers and PKer´s with some deco zombies... i will NOT vote on a comparison between MWO and that...thing...
