I read dire pronouncements about the game on these forums every day. From ECM to MC to LRM to SSRM, it is always something. We all have issues that we think will kill the game. Okay, I get it, I personally feel that if they make the konsole-kiddies happy and add third person and respawns I am going to quit so I understand it.

My real question is simple, if this game collapses where do we go?

Iron Brigade? LOL
Hawken? LOL
Some reworked version of a ten year old platform? Not laughable but still sad.

I do not want some silly hammer weapons from a bot that may as well be a person carrying weapons game. I do not want televisions or refrigerators, I want my MTV to be MechTV.

Where does the IP go it PGI blows it?

spend majer coudle time and bid it untill the next mech warrior comes and tries to sucseed. but at this point i think im gana help any people if they decide to mod star citizen into a mechwarrior game!!!

There's Mechwarrior Tactics that's still in closed beta. That's a more faithful representation of the board game and looks quite good. There's also whatever MekTek's cooking up.

lol all game forums are like this,go check out hawkens, they lock and delete negative threads non stop and theres a lot of them.

I have been in several games that have failed or shutdown after years of play. The one thing I can say about the world of MMOs, there will be another game.

This isnt the late 90s where MMOs were few and far between. I cant GOOGLE or Bing a topic without finding some MMO somewhere.

There may not be another Battletech/Mechwarrior MMO but there will always be another MMO.

My Plans are:
I will use up my Premium Time i bought with my Foundership, and when they don't accomplish
anything decent in this time:
i already bought me in the Alpha of Star Citizen, the AAA MMO Title Chris Roberts
(Wing Commander, Freelancer etc) is making. And at least he is honest enough to say
that his CB is more an Alpha then a Beta.

So Alt+F4 already installed.

Given how most supporters lack either proper arguments or evidence, I'd have to side with the sceptics on this one.

In case of a total flop I'll just end up doing something creative.

I'd probably start making music again in attempts to make something of myself instead of ripping limbs off of mechs.

Sadly they both trigger the same enjoyment receptors in my brain and mech blasting is easier.

I think you're jumping the gun here and don't think this game is going anywhere anytime soon, but if you really want to know... Ipad games, back to BF3, BFBC2, Skyrim, Total War etc. I would even try Mechwarrior Tactics or World of Warplanes when that drops.
