4k matches into this game, all desired and current grinds complete, baby meta tactics up to date, no problems with balance or cheesers at the moment, where is my replayability. It's not down to netcoding so I can 2 shot Lag Shielders. It's not down to MM or I quit pugging.
It's down to actual, you know, consequences of what I do in the game. Over the long haul.
...for me, the future of me playing this game in a serious capacity is predicated upon the development of CW and a sense of persistance in the universe. Everything else is secondary. I need fluff, I need a sense of permanence and interaction between myself and this universe we play in. Otherwise we're just American Gladiators in robots, which is shallow after the grind.

Short term, net code is what causes most of the issues in the polls, but CW will be what takes MWO from being a fun shooter to being a really awesome game.
