Hi could we have a dislike button please? Also can we have an aggregate stat under each forum avatar showing how popular/unpopular their postings are.
It would make having to open the thread to discover the op is another inbred window licking mouthbreather so much easier if you could just see how unpopular the op is and not bother reading.

A dislike button would work against the goal of achieving a positive forum atmosphere.
Not only would there be bad blood because someone disliked the post of someone else, We would also see abuse of the dislike function through secondary and tertiary accounts to lower the reputation of someones post by rivaling players or units.
Seen it often enough on other websites to know that it is not a good idea.

If you dislike something just say so in text and then explain why.
For example: I dislike the idea of a "dislike" button because I think trolls will just dislike everything to send everything to the bottom of the terribly lonely pit in which they reside.
