Account question: how to change password?

Ah, Hello.

Long time lurker here.

and decided to log in, and forgot my pass.
...then I got the temporary pass.

... and now that I want to change my password, I cant seem to find an option for it in profile.


can anyone tell me where to look?

- Click the "Profile/Logout" button in top right of the page
- Click the "Forums Profile" link at the top of profile info window/section
- At the next sceen, click the "Edit my profile" button, top right of that screens info.
- Click the "E-mail & Password" link in the left-side menu.

doesn't work for me, it takes me to profile edit instead.

  • Log out of mwomercs.com.
  • Go to the login page.
  • Enter your email address and click the "forgot password" link.
  • Wait for the email to arrive in your inbox, click the link contained therein.
  • Reset password.

Wow this is just plain ******** guys. I can't login to my account and change a password for my account and have to jump through hoops to do so. Some project management and design documents should have caught this long before implementation.

And you can't say r e t a r d e d...Wo what is PC coming too in Canada.

Same problem. The e-mail/password button takes me to the Profile Details page. I can't find a way to change my password (without using the forgot password option at login, if that works -- I haven't tried it yet).

This. Forgot your password or want to change it? Then reset it via that "forgot password" function.

That is the only way that I know of to reset your MWO password. Good luck!
