It seems like a lot of people are interested in the Elite Founder's Package.

Assuming they would package in extra mechs would you be interested? They're offering a Jenner, Hunchback, Catapult, and Atlas right now.

Hah, if one isn't pay to win... then why would more be? Just curious.

Honestly, the only in game advantage I see is time saved grinding c-bills to get the exact same mech (with a little different graphics).

For collector's though this might be pretty interesting. I'm sure there are people out there that will want to collect all their favorite mechs.

absolutely.
this is a win/win for them too.

these mechs won't be available in the normal cash shop, so they wont lose money selling them to us cheap ($10) and they will gain up to an additional $30.

Getting too much stuff right off the bat would ruin a lot of the fun to me. I want to slowly build up my garage full of mechs, not immediately have the best quality stuff.

I think getting one nice mech is a pretty good balance between giving you something for your money, but not too much.

Personally, I would definitely be interested in getting another mech. I Would love to have a snazzy Catapult and Atlas :3
Also, I Don't really think an extra C-Bill bonus is PTW. Even though you get a few extra C-Bills, it doesn't give you more armor or tonnage. Plus, you still have to know what the hell your doing in a mech. Even if you have a C-Bill bonus, you don't know what your doing if you don't know what your doing.

since you only have 1 with the advantages it has then it mean you have to use that one when u want to take advantage of it ... if you have multiple mechs all with that same advante then its basicaly unfair ... like i said it would be basicly pay to win ... i know its a minor thing they do only bonus cbils but still .... its just how i feel .. havening just the one makes sence

Very interesting results so far! Thanks everyone for participating.

I too agree with Riin. This is a win/win for everyone.

I'm actually surprised at the ratio so far. It seems like of those who voted, it's a 2:1 demand for more mechs!

I hope PG is listening. ;)

See, there is a little room for error here. Most people think that the "Exclusive custom "Founder's BattleMech."" is a skin. And while it may be so, that line doesn't lead me to believe it is. I would not be suprised to see all 4 of those skins availble to founders, and to have said "Exclusive custom "Founder's BattleMech."" to be something else entirely, such a mech that only founders will be able to obtain. Just my 2 cents.

Exclusive custom "Founder's BattleMech." doesn't sound like "unique skin" to me. ;)

Good point. Everything is mere speculation about what exactly is being offered at this point.

imo your dollar values for mechs are wayyyy off. The cost of the founder's package is more relative to the $60/$80 in mech credits, not to the cost of the mech itself. PGI stands to make much more money off me in buying mechs alone should they choose to make them in the sub $10 range. I would rather spend $80 dollars on 6-7 mechs then pay $60 for 3 mechs ( which I wouldn't do ). Naturally everyone wants to see more mechs, and naturally everyone is going to want to have them in their hangars. The difference between the wants and the haves is going to come down to how reasonably priced they are.

There should also be an option for interested in 0 mechs. I'm 100% sure to pay for it, but it's more about supporting the company that is doing this and to guarantee not having to wait longer for the game. I'd be happy with 0 mechs, or all 4 mechs, it doesn't really matter. Although some special paint job or tag would be appreciated, but it doesn't have to be more than that.

Hmmm. I see your viewpoint. I merely tried to come up with reasonable price points without overloading the poll.

I think it's pretty clear that anyone who would spend $60 would gladly fork over less then $10 for extra mechs if that's what they wanted.

While it would be nice to get in game premium mechs for much cheaper, I highly doubt that benefits their business model. After all, there's a finite number of mechs they can create in a certain time frame.

I look at the Founder's Mech being the tipping point of why people are willing to buy the $60 package in the first place. Yes, the extra month of premium and extra in game currency is nice, but I think the hook is really the mech.

I really expect to see mechs for sale in the $20 range. Not $10.

I'm torn. Part of me likes the uniqueness of having a single founders mech. Keeping them as a singleton increases not only personal attachment but community notability.

Then the other part wishes I could pick up both the Hunchback and the Catapult.

Assuming the four mechs shown are the Founder's Battlemechs(technically speculation but it seems like a safe bet to me!), I see a chance to pay extra for more of them as a good idea, although personally I probably would not (I prefer Dragon over Catapult and Centurion over Hunchback, personally)

The lifetime bonus is a pretty big deal, though, so I think maybe allowing you to buy more of the skins but not buying multiple lifetime XP bonus might be a good idea.

That my friend I completely agree with! For me it's the Catapult, Atlas, and Jenner.

Interestingly enough, the ratio is now above 3:1 for more mechs...

they should charge for them now, some time in the future these mechs will be old or obsolete ,just think in a year or so when Clans arrive.
So please if we can let us buy more than 1 package . or an option to get the Mechs some other way.

I just hope that we'll be able to make them just as competive with new weapons, pilot skills, and modular equipment. I have a funny feeling I'm going to be playing a Catapult for a long time...
