So iv done some looking around but haven't been able to dig up much info on the subject. but has anyone put together a mech calculator? a way to see what a load-out with mods cost. Would be really awesome to have something to look at load-outs and save load-outs for reference.
Its really hard to get an idea with the way the current selection menu works because you have to buy the items before you can see what takes up slots or weight modifications. and you might take something by mistake *example you take double heat sinks but find out you didn't need them* then you have to pay again to downgrade.
Ideas, Thoughts, is this already somewhere?
Thanks for Info given!

Couple available. Neither gives C-bill cost as far as I know though.
http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/ is a browser-based tool.
You can also find info about a java-based tool that you can install to your desktop in the forums at http://mwomercs.com/...echbay-program/
Personally, I started using the latter first and have stuck with it. I am more comfortable with the interface and find the additional information in the statlab useful as well.

That first link you posted gives C-bill cost now, even breaks down what the costs are coming from.

Ah, good to know. I haven't played with it in a while.
The one from Clan Widowmaker (my second link) gives some of the costs (frame and engine for example) but I don't believe it accurately tacks on the cost for FF or DHS at this time. Neither is going to be able to account for weapons you have in your mechbay already either which can be a reasonable savings on larger mechs (where you might be loading 1mil+ in ballistic weapons).

I highly recommend the online mechlab: http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/
You can also register and save your mechs on it so that they are accessible from multiple machines. Useful for people like myself who get trapped at work but get an idea for a variant during the day.
