So I was playing 4 man games with my friends and I went to go change my Catapult back to an SRM catapult, from an LRM catapult.

And when I finish saving my load out....



My catapult turned red.

Here's what it used to look like, note that this cap was taken on new years, the one above was a few minutes ago:



I tried logging in and out and yep, still red, so my white camo and 250 MC is gone, I even checked the camo tab and sure enough, it turned PCG red somehow.

Oddly enough the yellow wasn't affected, but how the hell did it change by itself?

I have to go soon, so I wont be here to answer any questions, so I'm going to answer the most glaring one that I'm sure someone will bring up:

Maybe you changed it by accident:
Not possible, I haven't touched it's camo since the day I bought it (Jan 1st), not to mention there are several prompts before you can even do so so its not like I could accidentally click on something by accident.

So...what happened? Is it a bug? A glitch? I don't see how the hell it changed itself, I was using it last night and it was fine.

I don't know of anything that would cause this, unless a family member in your house hold changed it on you.

If the above is impossible, I recommend contacting support about it being a possible bug.

That isn't possible at all, especially since the game doesn't even have a "remember password" option, not to mention the fact that I'm the only one in my house.

I hope I can at least get a refund for the 250 MC that's now gone. I'm hoping it's a glitch though because according to my MC log I made a 0 MC customization purchase...1 day into the future.

Happened to me also - my Awesome randomly reset itself to stock colours!!

Hopefully it's just a bug thats a result of the new patch then..

I can replicate this, and other weirdness.
Select all the really expensive prem colors. Now select a prem pattern. Finally, selet the basic pattern. It sets the cost total to 0 MC, and sometimes, it lets you save, but it never saves all the colors.

Changing load-out on my own A1, which is also white, resets the color to some random mess, from pure white. That's a pretty expensive bug.

The same thing happened to me also. I changed my weapons setup on my Centurion and it reset my camo settings. So, I lost my almost million credits worth of paint. Sigh. Just glad I didn't pay for mine. I can always grind another million credits and get it again I guess. But, definitely a bug worth checking into.

Have recently had a Stalker 'revert to green' after swapping out its engine in the mech lab (luckily just CB colour),

Have also had my Raven 'steal' paintjobs from teamates, like starting ingame beside a fang/flame and i can see my nose painted up in the unique camo and the fang/flame appears in default green ( 2nd time this happened i was able to get chat back from the teamate and he was still showing his unique camo to himself, but could see me in his camo also)

Pretty scary bugs considering the high MC and 'paint once' setup

Same happend to me. Was upgradeing the catapult 3D and when i exited the upgrade shop my cammo was gone, it reverted to standard green. WTF!? I payed money for that!

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, I currently have a ticket with support but they haven't really said anything at all, or have at all said anything about refunding my MC or restoring the camo, thank god it was just white and not something really expensive like my Stalker with white phranken camo.

Giving it a bump to bring awareness to the issue, also to get anyone else who's had the same problem.

Just wondering, have any of you other people affected filed a support ticket and have heard back anything?

I had it happen on my Stalker. It was purple and orange, then got reset to default. This happened when I took the engine out (std-300) and saved.

I haven't filed a ticket yet, I only lost C-Bills and I haven't done any testing to reproduce it. I will if it persists after the patch.

My Atlas DDC alas reverted from PC Gamer with Urban Grey/PC Black/Orange, to straight standard pc gamer colours, without my touching the camo tab for it. This occurred after a few games playing it then switching mechs, then selecting it again.

Hopefully this can be fixed soon, especially for those with expensive paint jobs they may have randomly lost.

EDIT: Now my HBK-4SP caught the bug, reverting back to its default green. I'll have to ignore camo options until this is fixed. I'm not sure how they managed to break this one.

Lets get more awareness in here, it's unacceptable that something you have to pay real money for can just glitch out and they don't even bother helping you or at least say something about getting you a refund.

I filed a ticket and had a response the next day. Day 2 saw a resolution. I have no problems with this Similarly, I was told the issue has been put into the bug queue, so they are aware of it. Not saying you shouldn't notify support if it happens to you, but let's not be totally combative about it.

Just happened to my hunchback. Had a stellar camo on it. Went to gut the engine and it was gone. Sent in a ticket. Just wanted it to look cool

That now makes two of my mechs that this has happened to. I was re-outfitting my weapons setup (not touching the camo setting at all) and when I saved the mech went back to original green. Sigh. My centurion and my commando now sadly green again. Luckily it only cost me close to 2million in credits instead of you guys that lost actual money.

I don't see why I shouldn't be combative about having paid real money for in-game cosmetics only to have them taken away through a glitch then being told that the issue has been "put on a list and we'll get to it eventually" with no sign of a refund or anything.
