I was having a 1vs1 with a Atlas and there was a commando running around taking popps at my back. Anyways I was doing alot of damage to this Atlas as we got closer n closer to the point where we was side by side. But i overheated and shut down, at this point the commando took my back out, forcing me to explode.

But the explosion also took out the Atlas next to me, awarding me with the kill. Explosive damage can affect mech around you??? didnt think this was implemented.

Any way I was recording the match, watch from around 7:20

He prolly died to his gauss and/or ammo (ams/ssrm) explosion. Anytime i kill someone with a ammo/gauss crit it takes a few seconds until they fall over, its somewhat delayed.

You took him out moments before getting destroyed, so it probably was an ammo explosion in his side torso and inevitable XL engine detruction.

I killed myself several times by shooting 6-packs at point-blank range, so i guess it is possible.

I dont think so, he (atlas) took about another 2-3 steps after i shut down and fired his cannon rite before i exploded due to the commando behind me taking off my arm. Id say my arm explosion killed the atlas next to me
