Read the thread title. It's really "How much of a RL do you have?" based on how much you've played certain mechwarrior games. Granted, probably a silly post made out of boredom or genuine interest, but damn man. It's just a question. A freaking question. Let's not start an argument about it.

You replying in this fashion and me getting perturbed about it and metaphysically slapping you upside the head probably just goes to show how much of a real life the both of us don't have. Lol.

No it just really bothers me when people use polls to only get the information they want, rather than actual information. It's a weird pet peeve to be sure, but the OP is on some TT crusade that also annoys me and he seeks to ignore that people were introduced to BT in a lot of other ways that he doesn't "approve" of.

And the difference between "actual information" and "information they want" is ... ? ... and how do you determine when this is happening?

So you don't agree with how I define the MW video game genre - I have good reasons for my definition; I'll be happy link you to them to keep this thread at least nominally on topic... but how is it skin off of your nose that I disagree with your ideas on the topic?

I enjoy a good argument myself, but your reaction seems pretty silly to me.

So ... now how do you find out how much RL someone has from a poll stating which games were played 10 - 15 years ago?

Anyway the games and books always intrigued me more than the actual TT game, because I was more into DSA P&P but that was a very very long time ago (20 years?)

I only intended the title as a literary hook. Intent for the poll is stated in the OP.
