As it stands now I have to click the login button. My browser remembers my credentials, but why should we have to take this extra step? Almost no website makes me do this anymore. It's 2013.

TheEvenger: Your forum login is the same as your game login. I think it's trying to prevent a security hole (your information being stolen from their databases)

Yup, as annoying as it is its a security measure put there to protect your account.
