About 5 minutes into the game my screen got very bright and I had snow...
...in Caustic Valley.

Could barely see anything so in the end I just powered down.

Anyone seen this before?

Well...

There is a constant fall of ash from the volcano that rains down on the field, it looks like snow. Some people with the higher-end systems have always seen it, you may be one of the exceptions.

Your graphics probably bugged out and you saw the ash for the first time and the brightness was part of the bug.

Depends. Sometimes it is like a very light, slow rain, sometimes it has a weird drifty pattern which is more ash-like.

OK, so it seems it was just a graphics memory error.
I have noticed what IÄd call rain before. But this time it turned into huge white orbs.

So just a random but funny memory issue.

Thats our next map , Snowy night caustic. Our next map is River city drought where all the water is dried up. Then they said Frozen city dressed up for groundhogs day. It's Forest colony next but in the fall with piles of leaves where the ship was.

I'm convinced that if Frozen City were to thaw it would be River City.

With all that water turned to ice and collisions/tripping back on. Might be funny watching Ravens and Atlases doing the splits and falling down.
