

Conquest Mode Dead?

I have it just set to 'ANY GAME MODE' and click go.
The other night I thought I'd count, and out of 12 games only 1 of them was conquest.
Is this just a coincidence, or have others noticed the same? Have people just gone back to Assault now?
If they have, I'd go as far as speculating that it could be because of the **** poor amount of c-bills generated by a cap win?
And if a cap win is pointless(25k c-bills), surely a game mode built around capping is superfluous - Why bother dragging it out, just choose assault and get in the melee.
Oh and before I get jumped on, 'dead' is a bit strong, what I meant to say is "in need of adjustment to make it a viable option"

However, I don't like Conquest on Frozen city. It's best on Forest Colony.
Anyway, that's my take on it.

Its TDM mode. You cannot be quick capped so you have to fight it out.

Just yesterday I spend a whole evening playing conquest (5+ hours). Only once did I get a failed to find a match, but dropped into one a few seconds later.
At least between 8 pm and 1 am CET there seem to be enough players active in this mode to support constant play.

In summary, Conquest requires that you do more than press your "1" or "2" buttons.

It just doesnt feel different enough to Assault - I think if they nailed it with a completely different game mode they would have got more of a lifespan out of the limited repertoire of maps

Conquest is a lot of fun if the players work together/are in pre-made groups. It is not so much fun if it is a PUG with 8 people playing their own agenda. Conquest would really be the awesome if we get new maps which are bigger than the current small play areas.

You make more money there, but blowing 3 minutes on my life getting ninjacapped is a buzzkill.
