Would be great to see more votes in there. And some bumps by someone other than me, lol! :D

Basically meant that I took none while the NDA was active. Apologies for the confusion. On day 5 of 9 with work, the first 4 being 14+ (saturday was 17hrs) hour days, and managed to get sick in the process. Making coherent thoughts with keyboard device is difficult. :(

All i know is that its garbage and it makes a map I like <river city> a map I wish I could just Dc from without screwing my team.

Also I have posted on this before and it usually brings out attacks by "HOMERS" that are in self administered Illusion about current state of the game

I like the MWO nightvision. Would be nice if the white glare was stripped or heavily toned down though.

Thermal is better for most situations, but I still use nightvision at close ranges for the better detail.

Still could use a buff, though.

In all my years of gaming I've not once seen a light amplification system done correctly in any game, in any genre. Not once. The "NVG" mode in STALKER - Clear Sky is possibly the closest but even that doesn't properly model the sensitivity of 1st & 2nd generation light amplification tubes to near-IR light.

The night vision mode as-is in MWO is so terrible it looks like the Vempyr active-IR system developed by the Germans towards the end of WW2, i.e. grainy, very low resolution, very low amplification, no bright source protection and significant tube distortion due to improper (cheap & nasty) tube cathode accelerator field shaping. Yuck.

Normal vision + green colour + bloom around light sources = much more accurate for a nominal 2nd generation system.

Not to mention it is actually very painful on the eye balls. It is a horrible thing to look at. NV needs a fixin for sure.

Night vision reminds me of the old monochrome monitors from the 80s. Nostalgia aside, the contrast needs to be tone down a bit.
