Well, as per usual, I have noticed a few changes that the patch notes haven't mentioned. Please chime in with your observations so we can make a comprehensive list. Will update as I confirm.

#1. Mech readout on left on JJ capable mechs now shows how far they can jump in meters. This feature has been in for awhile.

#2 JJ's now cause significant heat.

#3 Mech readout for heat efficiency has changed many report higher #'s. Maybe they weren't considering DHS before?

#4 It appears the ammunition icons got fixed from when last patch broke them.

#5 (unconfirmed) Hunchback 4SP has crazy sun glare on the bottom right display screen in the cockpit especially on forest colony. It appears the cockpit lights glare is causing it.

#6 (unconfirmed) Some people are reporting that their mechs are slipping around when on hills. Haven't tested this myself yet.

Please let me know if you notice anything undocumented.

Don't think so. Put the biggest engine I had in it, a 255 XL. Goes about 137 no speed tweak.

Alright, I was curious since the patch notes lead me to believe they might have relaxed it a bit.

Did they relax the speed restriction for the spider? Did anyone upgrade the engine in it to check to see if it'll go over 150 km/h?

Please let me know if you notice anything undocumented.

Looking at my Mechlab, my heat efficiency numbers are higher, but since they didn't fix ECM I'm in no hurry to Launch.

I had that same question, guess I'll find out for sure tonight. Got a few XLs lying around to test with.

Whoa, wait a minute here.

First they make the Cat-3D JJ's slower than molasses, and now they add extra heat(more than before)?

Yeah, I think now is a good time for a break.

Yeah, all my mechs have DHS and all my numbers went up. I'm wondering if the two are interconnected. Anyone going to buy a spider and upgrade it to DHS care to test?

I dont have any JJ capable mechs, but i've been told by several people already that they do now. (I think they should have before honestly) According to the mechlab the Cataphract - 3D now has a JJ capable of 38m. As opposed to the Jenner's 45m, and the catapults 41m, and the spiders 83 and 63m.

My Hunchback 4SP has crazy sun glare on the bottom right display screen in my cockpit. Might be all mechs or all screens but I really noticed it while playing Forest Colony in my 4SP.

My spider broke the 149 kph sound barrier (Mach 1?) after speed tweak in elite upgrades and top XL engine upgrade (255 XL). Stats in mechlab register spider with 255 rated engine should top speed at 137.7. In the game I get an honest 10% speed boost that puts me just around 151.5 kph. So does this mean that the fully upgraded Spider is technically the fastest mech in the game? What is the second fastest mech and how fast does it go? I've heard 149 kph thrown around as if all other light mechs hit this magical ceiling. Is this true?

Interesting, are there any other mechs that you notice this in? I will test my Atlases, Stalkers, and raven.

Thank you for this information, I know it's not undocumented notes but I was very curious. Thanks a lot.

does it really matter if the spider goes 1 km faster than a jenner and 3 km faster than a raven?

I was seeing 151.5 last night but don't know if I was actually going that fast. So I guess the speed boost was at least registering on the speedometer.
As to heat, have all 3 variants maxed out on JJs and never ran into a hint of heating problems.

Of course not, I was just curious if it was even faster. Since the patch notes kinda lead me to believe they relaxed the speed cap a bit for the spiders.

The speedo in my Jenner with a 300XL reports 152.7, it has been that way since a patch or two before Christmas.

This has been like this before this recent patch. I blamed it on my bumping up my graphics settings.

The heat scale now uses 2.0 for EDHS.

That is why efficiency has changed.

Hills now are like Slip-n-Slides.

Anyone notice they are sliding all over the place on steep slopes?

No.
-Commando and Craven: Don't have enough engine to get caught by the Netcode Rule, having engine ratios of 8.4 and 8.43 (8 3/7) respectively.
-Spider and Cicada: Are being caught cleanly by the netcode rule, and get an engine ratio of 8.5.
-Jenner: Is being caught by the netcode rule, but 297.5 rounds up to 300, so the Jenner squeezes out an actual engine ratio of 8.57 (8 4/7) instead.

The difference, speed tweaked, is an extra 1.26kph, which is marginal and not enough to break engagements in any good time.
