What's funny is other companies will look at PGI and say "That's how NOT to make a game".

Boohoo! We've been back from the holidays for 15 days and they didn't patch everything that they promised for January or the rest of time. Bunch of self entitled malcontents.

No netcode fixes and no ELO and no changes to ECM at all make this a lousy patch. Not to mention fixes to jump jets and a multitude of other issues that need to be solved and werenot. Such as a lobby and much better C3 integration.

I'll check out the Spider anyway. Maybe not even the ECM one.

No argument here. Even with all the known issues plaguing this game, new maps would be the only acceptable additions to MWO. the 4 maps (night or day) are so tired and I've only been playing for a week. Great game but absolutely no thought at all as to how quickly the same few maps get boring.

No major fixes. No consideration for balance. But we got a new worthless, buggy, light mech...., yay.

Will hold until the next patch... For me in EU..ping is too high... have delay when firing....sometime one to two second to see the shots fire after i clicked... tested on two different rigs to eliminate hardware/software issue...

Tag seem to work differently.. you tag a ECM as usually... but they dont display as tagged... so no lock doable.... only on static mechs..

Im also experimenting shield lag while circling hunchies... at 60 meter!!!

when you have so much maniability issue, it's not worth playing, there is no fun... I dont regret what i spent..i had great time when it worked..but from now i think i am as many: very disappointed... flamer and mg still not unusuable..big energy weapon to much heat greedy to use: LPulse Er large Er PPC..
Have 11 mech waiting in the mechbay... tonight not any were fun to play...

It's like driving a car and having no more break... you should anticipate the coming curve.. break..then wait for the break to take effect..then gauge the braking power (even if it vary from the same pressure on the ******...) then try to adapt... but this is undoable adn very frustrating cause this is all random..

I dont understand.. they didnt touch netcode... to disappointed..bored..frustated to be angry... see you in few day. ;)

Almost one month playing...
° 4 buggy maps
° less and less fun

more and more boring.. and such great performance... even on a decent gaming rigs... i did even buy a stick and new cpu ram and card to play it decently... beta is beta.. but i dont feel like i'll have the energy and enthousiam to fill some bugs reports.

Good lord..

"PGI NEVER FIXES ANYTHING, THEY JUST KEEP RELEASING NEW STUFF"

I have news for you:
The stuff they're releasing now has been in the works for MONTHS, and it's from the Artists and Engineers FOR mech-creating.

Fixes are in testing...and unlike Creating the new stuff, require far more work as they have to find the things, find what makes them, and fix them, then adjust the rest of the game to it..

So good ******* god, give it a rest... they'll put out the fixes when they're ready..

What's not to like?

We have a new 8 JumpJet, lagshielded 130khp ECM platform. Have to like that

This joke patch could only be achieved by CryEngine 3!

Actually we already have HiRez for that. PGI is becoming stiff competition in that department though.

I'm not drinking anyone's kool-aid. I play the game to have fun given what I have to play with at the time. Getting upset about something that I can't control isn't worth the time or effort. But, I find it rather entertaining that the minority masses get their panties all in a wad when they don't get what they weren't promised. Do things need fixing? Hell yes. Are they going to be fixed? Damn right or PGI won't have a game. But I'm not watching the sky fall or standing on a street corner telling everyone to repent before it is too late. I just load up when I can, shoot what I can as best I can, and then go on the next day.

Ouch...kinda speaks for itself....and i voted somewhat disappointed for the incomplete patch notes.

It would not have killed anyone to implement some stat line changes on energy weapons, altered UAC jam rate percentage if not the mechanic, fixed the ROF on the AC/2 back to what it was and gave us some details about fixing the 4 FPS/yellow screen/vanished HUD bugs.

Minority masses? You're a funny guy. Just because you are content with mediocrity doesn't mean everyone else has to be. You know why people do the things that they do on the forums? It's because it's a hundred times more fun than the trash they are trying pass off as a game.

While I think a great deal of the feedback has been a bit extreme, I do think that PGI make some questionable decisions here. For the last two weeks we have been getting hype about how "Big" this patch would be.

Hype? Really?

Show me. Cause I must have missed it. Other than a couple posts by staff yesterday and today, we pretty much haven't heard a peep from anyone official since before the xmass holidays...

I have to agree with many, I've generally supported PGI and unlike most of the forum goers I don't think the game is all that bad. It needs a lot of work, but it's still pretty young so I'm willing to give it some slack.

That being said, I started the patch and read notes at work before I left for the day (expecting the patch to take a while) and found myself saying (out loud): "That's it??!"

I'm still willing to give PGI some slack, but can we get some kind of statement or conversation going from them about what's going on and what they're doing.

Skimpy patch notes are becoming a habit...a bad one, at that.

Machine guns are still useless and we now have two mechs that rely heavily on them.
