1st. Once netcode is sorted I'd have knockdowns/collisions reinstated. This coupled with netcode will have a dramatic shift on how Lights are played, hopefully see the return of more medium mechs to boot. Go a long way to countering blob tactics, so quite an important one.

2nd.A game lobby so that players can at least chat to one another before a game starts, any DC's would happen there so the player can be replaced.

3rd. A soloris arena, while not exactly something the game needs right now i'd quite enjoy it. Whether playing solo or in a group which wants to fight one another. A FFA mode that is.

This poll makes no sense. How can you put fixing a memory leak bug as an alternative to getting a soundtrack?

"Programmers! We need to finish this soundtrack, fast! Leave your desk and grab a trombone, for God's sake!"

Or is it the other way around?

"Hans Zimmer! God dammit, stop composing your useless orchestral music, the fans are asking for improved net code. You know C++, right? Follow me."

Disclaimer: The fact that Hans Zimmer is going to compose the soundtrack for this game has yet to be confirmed.

They still haven't done anything about the suicide/afk farming, multiple disconnect farming rewards process.
I made a change to more accurately represent this.

the game records your stats regardless now. dc/afk farming is not penalized in forms of exp/cbill.

my mistake.

Ya.. but. Programmer's don't do music. Unless they are very special programmers. You have to pay a musical guy to write up the sound sheets, then you have to go to the local musicians union and pay more people to actually make the sounds. All that costs money.

I'm surprised that so few are picking the Community Warfare option given how many of us ostensibly believe that part is crucial.

Streaks need to be fixed, simply increasing ams effectiveness isn't enough. Either a hefty damage reduction per missile, or a change in the mechanics of how lock on works. No weapon that is guaranteed to always hit should be so easy to use.

Personally I'd like to see it changed so instead of being guided to their target, they fire exactly like SRMs - but only fire if you would hit the target. A "miss" would trigger their cool down but expend no ammo and generate no heat. Much closer to how they are supposed to function.

3 priority things to fix after the netcode has been completely fixed?

Id say in the following order;

Re-implementing Knockdowns
Balancing ECM
pre game lobbies

The reason behind fixing ECM after knockdowns (even though ECM is overly powerfull in its current state) is that it will force the light mechs to play smart again instead of gung ho rushing through the middle of the enemy team. A mech that has faceplanted itself is an open target, no matter if it is ECM shielded or not.

So.. when they fire exactly like SRM's how are they all going to hit? Streaks all hit. Sounds like your way they will miss?
