I'm not exactly sure how this would be possible... but I seem to have higher ping times since the most recent patch. I used to be in the 20 - 30ms range and now I'm always in the 130 - 200ms range. It's a pretty big difference. I wouldn't think a patch could change round trip times... but I did ping tests to other sites and pingtest.net etc and I get a Grade A. Everything else seems to be fine. Were the game servers moved to a new location? Are you using a new ISP? Was there some kind of routing change? I've noticed after the patch when I spectate through other mechs I can see them jumping all over the place, I never used to see that. I also seem to be missing a lot more often with my PPC's.

Anybody else seeing this or is my ISP maybe having issues?

Nope I've seen the same thing. My ping went from around .32-.46 to + .123

i haven't noticed any lag issues, but i have noticed a higher ping. perhaps the ping was off at first?

I noticed where how much I had to lag shoot was variable on the same guy, and by a fair amount.

I have noticed one or two occaisions where my ping has shot up to 190-200, but generally my ping is around where it was pre-patch; 110ms

my ping going funky tends to be in the first 30 seconds of a match but I haven't noticed it happening later in the match or having an effect on lag, though having to lag-lead has gotten worse, even when my ping is the same as it was pre-patch

My ping is up consistently by about 40ms after the patch. None of the other games I play are performing differently, so I know it's something specific to MWO, or at least something specific to the region where MWO keeps their servers.

My Ping is allways in the same range ~130 ms +/-5ms - on occasions it goes up to higher values but that is a rare exception.

My ping used to be 30-45ms for every match. The past week or so my ping has been 135-150ms. However my ping got worse abpout 5 days before patch. Like you I tested my interest and everything tested A ok. I have 85/35 verizon fios. I am not used to these high pings :)

Interesting. Well, it's not only me then. And you also have FIOS! I'm curious how many people who are seeing increased Ping times also have FIOS? Did they maybe change providers which has a longer path to Verizon's network?

My regional backbones haven't changed I just looked.

Sadly I never did a trace to the server farm to find out what the path was to start with.....likely because I don't know the host or IP, and I always had the lowest ping in a game 8(

Excellent, now I just need something to compare it to.

....actually Speed Test isn't showing any servers from White Plains or Philly now. Curious.

Malaysia here. My ping jumped from between 260/280 to 300/400. Did a speedtest and found the server to vancouver only rated me at 237 ping.

Well, I did a traceroute and the high latency starts here:

7 24 ms 20 ms 20 ms TenGigE0-6-0-0.GW8.NYC4.ALTER.NET [152.63.22.41]
8 123 ms 123 ms 115 ms tinet-gw.customer.alter.net [152.179.72.122]
9 145 ms 142 ms 144 ms xe-4-3-0.tor10.ip4.tinet.net [89.149.184.110]
10 153 ms 149 ms 142 ms internap-gw.ip4.tinet.net [77.67.70.94]
11 151 ms 149 ms 151 ms border1.te9-1-bbnet2.tor001.pnap.net [70.42.24.196]

I'm not exactly sure where that is, but everything in front of that is below 20ms. I don't have the time to research this further (I'm working :D ) But that seems to be where it starts if somebody feels motivated to pick it up from there.

Alter.net is Verizon's backbone. Also just so you know, that's not the incremental ping, it pings them separately.

Annoying devs incapability for fix netcode and hit-bug from Closed Beta stage...Your experiments kill the MWO slowly.
Pleas, spend my money for CryEngine maker and Warface proj devs team consulting.
