Its like the 4th of July when these two meet. When I see a teammate dancing with one trying to hit it with lazers for 2 mins, and a well timed spread of 2 SRM 6s blows it apart, I have to let out a little chuckle cause it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I equip my spider with ecm and ams so that I still have something besides speed when my ecm gets countered. Missiles are really the only thing these spiders have to fear.

Nah, they die just fine to laser fire. A bit trickier to hit with ballistics and SRMs, but still kill able. LRMs do seem to have some issue with hitting them if they are moving at top speed in a straight line, but all lights do that. They are much easier to hit than the TROLOLOL Raven 3L with its janky a_s hitboxes....

Spiders and Commandos are great XP/C=bill boosters.

Hit them with a stream of SRM/LRM, heck even a few LBX shots and you're guaranteed at least 2 components kills.

These little arachnids pop like 'mandos when you finally figure out the lead for your AC20. Tricky, but infinitely rewarding to watch them pop.
