For Those Who Play Less Than Before?

Also, where the hell are the european servers?
Terrible, terrible optimisation - How someone can take an established engine and make it into a resource hungry gimped version of itself is beyond me. FPS in Planetside 2: 60 - 90, FPS in MWLL - 80. FPS in MWO: 25 - 40.
The awful screen darkening bug drives me up the wall as well as it makes the game impossible to play at crucial points.
Dreadful net code - this covers the whole lot. Firing delay, lag shield, convergence etc.
Lack of new content - like lots of people have pointed out, as fun as the game is, it can get dull pretty quick as there is nothing realyl to work towards. Going into open beta without having the community warfare in place (which frankly is fundamental for this game to work and succeed) was a foolish move by PGI.
Awful balancing - it feels like the internal testers just sit around jerking each other off all day long instead of raising their hand and saying "this particular in game item feels underpowered/overpowered". Either that, or they're doing their jobs and the headboys at PGI are ignoring them.

Indeed. There is no fun in shooting empty area to get a kill. And its not even close to be 'ok' shooting teleporters(lights).

To those that find themselves playing less and less? Why do you think you are playing less than say a month or more ago?
Well, the best way to answer this is that I've found much better things to spend my time on. Among those things are superior products.

Yeah Im waiting for Open Beta. Im not paying in to anything PGI related before I see what theyre planning for it again. Got burnt once thanks
I'll admit I also jumped on the MWT bandwagon, bought L-Founders there too. Can't talk about the closed beta, but will say that based on the information that was released publicly I was convinced to buy into it. My reasoning was based on having a second bite at the in-depth meta-game, or CW in Piranha-speak.

3 issues
1) netcode still sucks
2) ecm still encourages an "everyone needs one" strategy
3) matchmaking still sucks. 4man is still about shepherding pugs. 8man is too rigid when you're down one
devs seemed to only make things worse with each patch, either breaking things that were fine, or trying to fix things in a way that only worsens them. meanwhile ignoring long-standing issues
and then they announced the whole "we'll only answer 4 questions every 2 weeks in essay form" which screamed of "we're gonna pay even less attention to the community's recognition of glaring problems we missed" (fortunately they've reversed this)
i still want this game to be good, still want a reason to reinstall it, but they've yet to give me one

- Lack of community warfare / strong / well thought-out meta-game
- Only 5 Maps
- CONCLUSION : All the above play into repetitive, shallow, boring game-play

And other game releases, like planetside 2 till I realized what crap it was. And several other games, like arma3's alpha is coming out in a week. So I will defiantly not be here. I spend more time on these forums then I do in game now a day's, I have to motivate myself to even launch the game. And when I do, I only play for a hour or two. It's just gotten stale for me I guess.

And there is not even a lobby to give it a purpose or at least get around the pug queue or the cheese drivers by gentlemen agreements with other groups.
Oh and a random match against an other group is still a random match.
For reference: my playtime dropped from 2-4 hours a day to 0-1 hour every 2 or 3 days.
Also the clan I am in is dramatically wandering off to planetside and mwtactics, since it is available ( founderstuff, the smallest package 20$ ^^).
Currently i spend my time rewriting spherewars to support mwtactics as the main game, because there you can invite specific opponents for a match and guess what? You even get rewards for it without a ney sayer screaming "cheaters/farmers everywhere!"
It's quite refreshing, opposed to MWO currently.

1 - i'm playing less because i don't want to play when i'm not 100% in the right mindset, since i'll just get owned if i play when i'm getting sleepy and so on; and i want to improve my stats so that leaves me with about 3 hours a day in which i can muster the right mindset and concentration to play the way i feel i should (and maybe/with luck help out my team as well)
2 - i stopped playing as much with teamspeak because often when dropping 4 man nobody calls any shots, nobody delegates targets, (aside from OP- joe is quite good at it) it feels like i'm pugging with another 3 marik, with no discernible advantage.
even though people are quite friendly and awesome! still it's not really worth it waiting for the group to get organized and ready

No I don't believe it to be unbeatable. It's the fact that the game is completely based around it that I find so repulsive. Every build, every prioritized target, every strategy must consider the existence or absence of ECM. The fact that we have received next to no input from the devs is disheartining.

Before there was a lag shield that you could compensate for. It wasn't perfect but at least when your reticle turned red you did damage.
Now it turns red but they don't take damage every time.
