No new maps or worthwhile content. Just the same old same.

hmmm in order I'd say:

1. No progression or anything in the game. WoT has tiers, LoL and DOTA 2 have levels and ELO ranking. In MWO, there's no sense of progression (I don't count the mechtree as progression, still feels like a placeholder to me). CW would fix this, probably. Depends on how PGI implements it...

2. ECM + lag shield = game that is less enjoyable than before. I can still deal with those, but I find ECM to be too powerful for the low cost.

3. World feels a bit empty. Destructable terrain, in-game music or voice commands would add to the immersion.

4. Audio bugs still bugging me, PGI don't seem to be in a hurry to fix those.

Don't get me wrong, I still play 2-3 rounds per day, but I used to play a lot more before.

I still love the game but my group took more of a break for the last month and a half mainly because there's a lack of goals/rewards now for continuing to play.

We found the mechs we like, but using them on the same maps over and over has gotten less exciting for sure. Perhaps that'll change with Community Warfare if we can play for planets, bigger rewards, etc.

I tried to get back into it with the Spider mech, but as soon as I saw the C-bill cost of buying the two modules I unlocked and buying the recommended XL engine, it immediately became not worth the time investment and I'm discouraged (I own two of them). That's the most challenging issue in any game, especially FTP ones, is balancing reward vs. time investment.

Well, I was always a huge fan of the MW games, so when I tried this it was a huge flashback of what I wished the older games were like. But after grinding non stop to be able to buy a mech with ECM just so I can survive the firsts couple minutes of a fight, I have noticed how things don't seem to work as they should.

This game is only in Beta phase, why on earth does everything in this game cost real money or MC's. I should not have to fork out 100$ just to have the mechs I spent weeks grinding to purchase in the color and pattern that would make them feel like they were mine. The lack of an option to buy customization's with c-bills is a major flaw in this games design and makes me lose faith in the designers and producers of this game. It seems that they are more interested in making more mechs, and adding more features that can only be obtained with MC than anything else. It seems like a cash grab.

Don't get me wrong I spend hundreds of dollars on video games, but these are games that i pay for once and I get access to all the features. I have also payed subscriptions to MMO's for the last 10 years. But to have to spend 20$ to paint my mech in the color I want is unacceptable.

Right now I don't see the point of playing, there is no goal, there isn't anything to spend all the c-bills on once I have maxed out my mech bay.

So until there is actually a goal or point to this game I will not invest very much time into this disappointment. I am a pug, and Pugs vs Groups lose every time, pugging sux.

Looking forward to see where this goes, and hope it starts to become more than a pay to win grind session. The end game concept looks amazing, but I really don't want to wait another 2 years to see it because they haven't made enough money selling hero mechs and customizations.

1) Planetside2 is just so darn good I find myself with no time to play anything else.

2) The economy designed by PGI is an unfunny joke. The kind of joke I'm liable to take offence over and hold a grudge. More specifically, I'm talking about the C-bill income rates. It's a cash grab that reeks of desperation and debt. The old system was acceptable, the current one is not. Maybe if they doubled the C-bill income across the board in the current system we would be going places in terms of pleasing me. Yes, I have premium.

3) I've decided long ago, that I want to play this game purely solo. No teaming up whatsoever. Until they change the game to suit my chosen playstyle so that I can do good with it, I have little reason to play it. I don't see myself investing any meaningful amount of time in this game anymore unless they implement an eight-randoms vs eight-randoms queue or some equivalent.

So I logged in today for the first time in a month to check out the new patch, and I don't like what I see. Again. If I could get a refund on the 20+ thousand MC that I have, I would totally take it.

I play less than before due to limited options.

1. PuG and suffer a good chance to get steamrolled by a premade. Totally disappointing outcome.
2. Join a group over teamspeak and win roughly 95% of my matches. Totally boring outcome over time.
3. Find an eight player group and wait for extended periods of time for people getting drinks, working in the Mech Lab, smokes, let the dog in/out, etc. This sucks, because the number of games you get in seems really low.

The mere fact that lone wolf players are getting thrown into the same pool as premade groups is sad to me. Even a group of two or three can dominate, so it makes no sense to force lone wolf players to play against these groups. The 8 vs 8 queue seems fairly empty to me, probably due to the longer games and the reduced rewards.

The mere fact that sync-dropping is possible also really turns me off. The other night I was in a group of four and we entered the same game with a group above us on teamspeak by pure chance. We ended up on the same team overall, and three of my teammates went up to the other channel and left me alone in our channel, making it a 7 player group over voice. [I'm pretty quiet and didn't realize they had left, I guess I missed them saying they were hopping up.] No worries, though... I wouldn't have gone up anyway, as I'm really against the sync-dropping as it is.

So, while PGI seems to have chased their tail trying to appease a group of players that begged, whined and moaned over being forced to play with PuGs, it seems that their desire to generate XP and credits far exceed their desire to play in a competitive environment.

PGI should have forced all players grouped up, in any size from two player to eight, into the same queue. Forget filling spots with lone players to even out the teams. Seven vs. eight, eight vs. six, six vs. seven... so be it... let the matchmaker figure it out. Anyone with a brain knows full well voicechat is the trump card for most games in MW: O, anyway, so they shouldn't complain.

I'm just bored of the current maps and game modes, mostly.

Still playing and having fun, for the most part, just... want more stuffs.

I play less because:

1. ECM totally broken overpowered, its three pieces of tech in 1 with the weight of only one piece.
2. Bugs, 4 FPS, yellow/black screen, memory leaks, been in game for months no fix in sight.
3. Netcode, the've been "working on it" for over 9 months, i doubt they ever will fix it they still haven fixed DNF's netcode.
4. Matchmaker, been working on it for 6+ months and its not any better now than then.
5. CW was the only thing i was waiting for, it was annonced at open beta that it was going to be in game in 90 days, thats now and they are refusing to talk about it and outright refusing to answer questions about it in the ask the devs forum.

So now i play 1 or 2 games a day spend my 15 min and move onto game not riddled with bugs that have existed for 6+ months with no fixes.

I'll be back to playing full time if they fix the netcode, MM, and dont completely screw up the CW implementation.

Because all the assaults suck, most of the mechs in general.

The way they've set up crits, heat, damage and tons of other things allow only for a few viable builds.

So I'm stuck in my atlas until PGI decided to release the mauler, the only other mech I can mathematically see myself using.

Banshee? ***
Highlander? ***

If I could pull more AC20 and ballistics and hard hitting weaponry I'd be playing more.

netcode. There are many other quality f2p and retail multiplayer games, almost all of which have solid and fair netcode. It is simply less frustrating to play those instead.

-ECM

-Lack of Netcode fixes

-More and more cosmetic items, not enough netcode

-WoT has been easier on my face.

As both a tank nut, and mech nut, the transition was easier for me, but honestly my hope is running out for MWO. I have a garage filled with mechs so I don't necessarily feel urged to do anything, I'm just sad that the devs seem to do little to fix the biggest issues this game has. We all wanted Bobbleheads and camo, we got it! JUST THERE'S TOO MUCH FOCUS ON IT NOW.

On further note; I'd like to add that I think this game is falling short compared to many other F2P games out there. I understand this is beta, but during beta for say WoT or LoL when it was in beta. Balancing wasn't an issue. MWO is doing too much that takes away from the Mechwarrior feeling I was used too. I don't have enough mates, or time to group up so much, and PuG is just painful.. I still hold a shred of hope, but it's fleeting fast.

Bored of
1. Always same start positions in maps.
2. Same maps sometimes 2-3 times in a row, esp City as the Night map can run into the Day one.
3. Playing in Heat vision all the time, due to Night map / LOS not enough for computer due to ECM.
4. FOUR unique maps, not seven.
5. Horrible elitist people on forums. (there are nice ppl too)
6. Narrow focus of gameplay - ie: straight-up PvP... no NPCs, no "missions".
7. Tbh, I'm gonna say it... poor value for money. I have spent more on this game than any other game (excluding wow) that I have owned and feel as though I have next-to-nothing to show for it. Not that the game isn't great - the monetisation is off though.. £30 for a battlemech? ffs.

I haven't played MWO for almost three months... Why?

1) The netcode, It's too frusturating for me and I have a short temper.

2) The GUI. While it IS getting better, it still kind of blows.

3) Having to go into config files to change settings. Throttle used to be toggled to my mouse wheel. Now I have to be unlazy and actually hunt and peck through files just to be able to do that again.

4) Paper dolls being rather off. I know, beta this beta that. You should still go bye bye when an AC/20 round hits your cockpit.

5) Lack of maps, you can only play the same four so many times.

6) The WoW-like mentality of buffing and nerfing weapons. This probably has to do with a bigger issue of how heat is in the game, but I don't remember the last MechWarrior titles having this problem.

7) No CW yet. CW is what is supposed to make or break MWO. I know these things take time to do, and I'm willing to wait.

8) I've been bitching about this since CBT, and it's purely selfish... But I wish they'd put back on the 2 energy hardpoints that were removed from the Atlas. Yada, yada rear facing lasers, I know. Still, taking off those two hard points gutted a LOT of potential firepower.

Playing less than before because:

1) Need a larger purpose behind the matches (what PGI has been calling CW, about which no new information has been released for months).
2) Have ground out every mech I want to use (Master 1/1).
3) Have all the modules purchased.
4) Tired of lag-shooting. Able to do it, it just grates on my nerves after a while.

I've almost completely stopped playing since the last patch introduced severe teleportation and warping that made it impossible to move and aim at anything. Even heavy mechs are warping and teleporting around now.

I'm playing less but I will say,
*ECM doesn't bother me, I never really used LRMs that much anyways.
*Lagshields don't really bother me since... I dont know what people are talking about? Lag shooting? I'm a mechwarrior 2 vet (can't say MW2 cause then people will probably call me a CoD *** or something) I never had a problem shooting a light unless I don't have enough room to lag shoot it. Netmech was way worse when we had to bribe little kids on the street to run our packets to the ISP.

Really as people have also sorta mentioned above... there's nothing to fight for. You get the mechs you want and then... well... what else is there?
I joined into founders cause I was like "Oh wow! What a great proof of concept and a solo prototype! They have the basis of an excelent system here!" Then as time went on I realized "OH WAIT, THIS IS IT, THIS IS REALLY CLOSE TO WHAT THEY ALREADY WANTED."

A fool and his money is soon parted and I am quite the fool. C'est la vie.

The firing delay, the fps problems I ran into today, the same maps, the same mechs, they're minor factors.

The main reason I don't play as much anymore, is that my group has dropped off severely since we can't really play with each other. Group was about 30 strong 3 months ago, now we're lucky to have a full group on at one time. During the EU prime we have 6 to 7 online, but we still can't easily play together.

1/ Maps (I don't think the developers realize that people are actually playing right now.)
2/ Matchmaker&ecm
3/ Collision
