Hey!
From what I' ve played, I found out that AC/10 is almost exclusively found on Centurions,
because of their size/dps ratio. So, I decided to make a build, that' ll make them useful on
other chassis. What do you think about it?

(2* AC/10- 5 tons of ammo in legs and head; 2*MPL; AMS; ES; DHS; STD255; 416 points of armour)
It' s main advantage are I'ts greatest weakness though. Arms let you aim precisely, but are quite easily shoot off. But this build has a great deal of armour and speed, to evade. I' ve also made a Ila Muromets version, which trades survivability for awesome, dragon-like speed.

(same as above, but: 4 tons of ammo, no AMS; 340XL and max armour)
So, what do you think?

Two AC10 and one PPC is a good build for Muromets.
Another nice build, actually, is one AC10, one AC5, and one AC2. It sounds weird, but it works well. You can just hold down the alpha button and it automatically staggers and fires a constant battery of shells.

I never liked rapid fire weapons, I' ve always prefered a big punch, so AC/10s are my choice, especialy witch their awesome ammo bins

Throw XL on that thing, it needs more weapons! OH wait its the 4X, carry on (IMO its teh worst one for loadouts unless you do like 4 AC5 or something crazy)

HH.Custom something I wanted to try when the Cataphract was released, I couldn't take x2 AC/10 overheating SHS though. (1t ammo per arm, since there's nothing in the side torsos anyways.)
The "HH" stands for Hammerhands, a relative of the Warhammer, both dangerous mechs.

I got a 4X as a first purchase, haven't been too disappointed. Those dual ballistics can be a barrel of fun if you're not playing hyper competitively at all. Four ac2s spamming on sequential fire across the map at round start is a sight to see. Makes scouts think twice when they get pegged a half dozen times before they're halfway to the center of the map. Even if the damage is crap, those long range popguns are still doing a point of damage per hit out to1,440 meters, and can still hit someone to wake them up from AFK at two kilometers. With something like 8 tons of ammo at 75 shots a pop, that's still 150 shots for each gun, enough to basically sit back at base on high ground and make sure anything that gets within a kilometer and a half of base that isn't friendly gets whacked silly by shells. As long as your team understands not to walk across your line of fire or bump face first into the other guys, and you stay a kilometer away from the action with a nice shooting position at full zoom, and can lead and predict and compensate for lag and such, it's a laugh to play. More fun IMO than shelling bad guys at 1,320 meters for half damage with dual gausses and 6-8 tons of ammo, if just for the sheer volume of fire. Too bad you have to constantly reposition and back off and rely on teammates for big alpha damage. Four AC2s ripping at twice a second sounds like nice DPS, assuming you can hit anything. I've played around with dual LB-Xs also, but I suck at lag-leading in general, and my latency is straight up lunar colony levels, so dumping twenty pellets of fun across their entire torso every time they wander in front of me never worked out well, and I always ended up dying while spastically shooting walls and hills, waving my TAG around and wishing for voice com and a light pilot around. YMMV, of course.

Word of wisdom: Get twin Gauss on Ilya and quad AC2 on 4X. It's AMAZING.
Nobody likes AC10 anyway.
