no no bobble heads on a screen is far more important. seriously though i just think the the bugs are
a} held off for completely new systems to take over before they start fixing it up.
b} making a bobble head is like making a paper plane, fixing the lag netcodes errors is like navigating concorde through the eye of a supernova. with added coal.

Let's hope we get more of it in the future.
Exactly. Even a simple response like this, saying "We have people working on it, don't worry" will calm down many many people.

I work on the recieving end of an IT dept. and I know that the code crunchers in IT are unsung heroes who get very little appreciation (and not a little scorn and derision).
I'm really enjoying MWO so far (almost 800 matches and counting since the beginning of Open Beta) warts and all and have faith in that PGI will solve the major issues to make it even more fun
As someone else pointed out, when the netcode fixes come they will do so in a major fashion, changing everything (hopefully for the better

Unlike normal company desk job, they are not working a 8 hours shift with small break sitting before this sack of knot.
I do believe they are in the same office than the other people, and benefit from a relaxed environement with facility to blow off steam.
As in, arcade, ping-pong table, and so on.
Dont see this post, as an attack on them. Just pointing out that this is not a ****** job as you guys would think ( Tough far less "fun" than other side of the project).
Also, on a mildly relevent topic : Region server, When the **** ?!

Seriously, I cant think of a more special version of hell than troubleshooting active code all day

I just landed repeated shots on a full speed spider, at 600m, with AC fire... Simply seeing the shots hit, means they actually hit... which is awesome.
Give a bonus to the guys who fixed this stuff.

Hmmmm... I would expect that if you fire a 1200kph AC round at a target 600m away moving 150kph, you should still have to lead them by 20m. If not we may be dealing with reverse lag.

That's the thing..
I have to lead them, but it's only due to the travel time of the weapon.
I no longer have to intentionally miss in front of them to score a hit... I just need to lead by an appropriate amount, such that my shots hit the mech on my screen.
You need to lead a target with AC fire.. but you do not need to lag shoot.

Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt the netcoders.
