Can you clarify this? 160 what?

What network-wise has changed between your last comp and this new one? And dont say "nothing" because obviously something has.. or perhaps there is just a problem on the line. Have you contacted your ISP?

Another possibility is you need to optimise your connection settings.

It's either ISP issues (give them a call), your router not liking the new config (not likely), or Windows internet connection setup. My bet is on the last. Remember, new PC means default settings.

your computer itself will have little to no effect on ping (unless you've got a duff network card / port)
as highland says, what else have you changed on the rest of the network?
go to speedtest.net and run several tests to different servers both near you and near Toronto (where the game servers are iirc)

look at the ping as well as the upload download speeds (also, yeah, 160 what? kbps? sounds like your connection is faulty)

This topic was moved to the Player Support sub forum, where it feels more comfortable.

Where are you playing from? Ping from 140 - 160 is currently usual for people connecting from Europe.

If you are in the NA region, I'd suggest you check with your provider and do a traceroute / pathping to dev.mwomercs.com.
