It has been discussed, a few times, as well as in that thread. It was a early build and they had been focusing on the main playstyle of the average player, mouse and keyboard. They will be having support for joysticks and other peripherals.

They have written, stated, convinced, etc., that joysticks are indeed supported.

Heck, they even shown us their own sets. ;)

if i were paul or russ i would have supplied all friends and family with a js. jus sayin.

I think I haven't played with my joystick since Heavy Gear II. I can't wait to take it out again !
Yes does are double-meaning words ^^

But seriously, if they manage to pull off a gameplay like Heavy gear II, that'd be awesome !!

The joysticks they use range from $600 to $1500 if I remember correctly, just sayin'. :P

well you dont give that to the testers... youd givve them old atari sticks so you would be unbeatable.

Keyboard and mouse still ain't no way to pilot a 'mech, if you ask me. Gotta have my questionably-named-and-shaped thing with too few buttons that likes to get uncalibrated all the time. Obviously superior! >_> Or that's what I tell myself, anyway.

A Logitech Extreme 3D Pro works just fine for just about any game on a PC
