So just out of curiosity, can I set up four Ultra AC/5 and chainfire them for a faster ROF then normal AC/5s? Will they still jam at this point or no?

Nope, you can only bear 1 AC5 + 1 UAC5 per arm. You don't have the necessary slots to bring in four UAC5's.

Take a look here (just an example)

But then good luck, you'll suffer ammo shortages; whenever I bring a couple of UAC's I usually need to feed them up with at least 6 if not 7 tons, and when I triple them on the Ilya 10 or even 11 tons of ammo are sometimes necessary.

I say just run 4 AC5 and then set them to chain fire. By the time the last fires you should be able to fire the first again.

I've been running around with 2xAC/2s and 2xU-AC/5s: CTF-4X

Runs a little hotter, but higher dps, longer range, and no XL engine.
