I like how this thread started with an OP who threw caution (and the community code of conduct) to the wind with his callout thread. Goons then proceed swoop in and crack jokes turning what could have been a name calling hate fest into something amazing

Our slosh op night was a huge success and I want to thank all of you goons and pubbies alike for being a part of it and creating such hilarity. Do you guys remember how great that match was where I killed everyone? I certainly do. I hope we haven't ruffled too many feathers tonight as it would be a shame if you guys weren't having at least a fraction of the fun that we experienced. I have to go tend to the goons still left on mumble who are far too drunk for their own good. Squawk.

A side note to the devs that inevitably shut this whole thing down:
I hope you guys understand the motives for some of our shenanigans. We don't mean to be overly malicious, but we enjoy having a bit of fun at the expense of those who take shooting space robots a little bit too seriously (especially if they are raging at us in game or calling us names).

That's a scurrilous accusation. We play the game because it's fun, otherwise we wouldn't have spent so much money on it. If you wanna get mad because we can beat the pants off you while blind drunk (as 80+ of us did last night in the 8 man queue), that's your problem, not ours.
