I have a 7.1 surround headset, the Logitech G930, and there is a buzzing noise, LOUD, in the left ear cup that comes and goes. This is definitely an artificial noise created by some bug in the software. Supposedly 7.1 was going to get addressed a couple of patches ago, but I've yet to notice much of an improvement.

Please fix as it's driving me batpoop insane at times when it's really bad.

Same here! Got the Razer Maelstrom and its a constant annoyance in my left ear.. like a low frequency buzzing, sounds electrical (what doesn't) but i'm sure its got to be a bug in the audio processing...

Same thing here had the buzzing with the g930. "Fixed" it temporarily by going into Logitech control app and lowering volume on left and left rear channel. Much better than the buzzing. Hopefully they do an official fix for it but this works in the meantime

As a G930 user I do not use full 7.1 while playing MWO as this is a known issue. They are trying to track it down but it is not a high priority at this time.

I used to get this issue all the time with my g930. Since the latest patch I haven't had an issues with it.
