Hang in there. It may not take you 5 months but you'll get it...it just takes practice and patients.

I dare you to go outside and run at top speed in a circle only about 15 feet across. You'd have to lean into the turn so much your feet would slide out from under you. Try it in a car or on a motorcycle, see just how small a circle you can drive at 130 mph.
Do you consider Camaros and Mustangs and cars with Hemis to be 'high performance'? Otherwise, I find NO WAY IN THE KNOWN UNIVERSE to rationalize that commentary on physics.
Seriously, message me your mailing address. You need my old Physics text MUCH more than I do, if you really believe that an two different objects, one with 3-4 times the mass of the other, should, all else being equal, have the same minimum turning radius for a given speed.
DAMN THE MASS, FULL SPEED AHEAD!
(But really, I'm all done with Physics for a bit. You can have the book. You NEED it.)

I do really enjoy MWO, It's just going to take time to work out all the bugs.

It's one thing to have specific items of which you are critical, it's another matter entirely to be openly calling for the demise of the game. Do you truly think that having MWO go belly-up would open the doors for someone else to scramble to pick up the title? We've gone HOW long without a MW game? And you think seeing a game that was on a 10+ year hiatus die is going to encourage a better developer to swoop in and save the day?

Personally, I'm aware of a game development company in California Bay Area that would love the IP. *shrug* Regardless, it would take a lot of time. Even if PGI folded today, you figure it takes time for all the legal work and the new company would have to start from the ground up on their own development.
I was hopeful for this game during closed Beta, but open Beta just hasn't been fun. I'm hoping a seriously good patch shows up at some point to address ECM and NetCode.

I was never this bad in MW4, but I can hardly hit anything. I've seen ravens get hammered and take little damage, they disappear and reappear, slide across the screen...Spiders take no damage and move faster than my mouse can track. I've gotten absolutely no xp for any match I've played in. The matchmaking system pits 6 Atlases and 2 heavies against 6 mediums and a couple of heavies., lag shield from hell on lights, ECM makes an Atlas invisible when it's 10 feet away. I had one match where i sat and didn't move and 45 seconds later I was surrounded by 6 opposing Atlases and Cats, how in the hell could Assaults move that fast?!!
My PC is well up to the task of this game, although my ping is not that great, but there is some serious stuff going wrong here.
I'm not sure I want to boot this game ever again.
I smell 2 false statements in there. Your matchup system is wrong if you are pugging and you get XP whether you win or lose.

That's fine that you feel this way. However, some of us are still having fun and not completely pessimistic about the future of the game. You'd think from reading the forums that the sky was falling, but that's the nature of game forums.

The difference for beta and released game, as far as MW:O goes, is called 'community warfare'. As long as it is not included, the game is in beta and shortly after it is included the game will be launched. Everything else about MW:O is considered the final product already.
You might remember this post from august,

Hey MechWarrior Fans,
- The product goes into Open Beta - very frequent minor updates continue along with a steady stream of 'mechs and maps.
While this is going on a large portion of the team is working on the first major update for the game.
- About ~3 months after Open Beta we ship the first major update for the game which is Community Warfare or the first iteration of the overarching meta game.
This of course is a huge feature which takes the fight across all the factions and the entire inner sphere.
- After community warfare is introduced into the product we will likely officially "launch" shortly after.
- A few months after launch the next major update is released which of course is all about the clan invasion.

Actually yeah, yeah it probably would...I bet there are some devs teams quite suprised by the amount of money it generated.

ah so we should deal with this game no matter what and be thankful for having it at all?
Is that REALLY the angle you wanna take here?
