It will be faster, with JJ, and probably more missile points than either.

I thought the Treb couldn't jump... it's the Whitworth that can. Or have I got that the wrong way round? Quickly! To Sarna!

It has one variant that jumps.

Huh so it does, the TBT-5J, not sure the JJ's are going to be worth having to ditch an LRM15 for though..

Right now it doesn't matter, there is little use for LRM. I have two LRM boats, but I only bring them out like once a week.

The 5 possible Trebuchets:
5N 2M 3E
5J 1M 3E 5JJ
5S 2M 3E
7K 1M 1B 1E
7M 3M 3E 5JJ

All of them with a 250 engine stock, and a 325 engine cap.

what upcoming mech has a lot of Ballistic slots?

Dont know if or when it comes: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Annihilator

Quote

ANH-1A - The actual variant that showed up with Wolf's Dragoons, the -1A was armed with four Autocannon/10s and four Medium Lasers. While less accurate and unable to use cluster rounds, the 1A was still a highly destructive and dangerous 'Mech that no MechWarrior looked forward to engaging. BV (1.0) = 1,151, BV (2.0) = 1,434[3]

Custom Variants

Annihilator Bryan "Gausszilla" - Apparently based on the Annihilator C2, this variant carried five Gauss Rifles. In addition to the standard Gauss Rifle layout, a fifth Gauss Rifle was fitted to the right torso. This variant only had eight tons of ammunition. BV (2.0) = 2, 455[12] It is a nod to Bryan Nystul's (non-canonical) Gausszilla design.

Schwerer Gustav is an individual FrankenMech built partly from an Annihilator chassis. It could arguably be regarded as a (heavily) customized Annihilator.

Tired of seeing these threads... Anyway, if a mod or someone else sees this, please correct me if I am wrong.

The 'Mechs go in the order of: light, medium, heavy, assault, light, ect. They are also being released in the order they were announced on the website. So the Trebuchet was the next medium announced on the news page, so it is the next medium to come. Then comes the next heavy that was announced, then the next assault and so on.

So the coming order should be:

Trebuchet - medium
Jagermech - heavy
Highlander - assault
Flea - light
Blackjack - medium
Orion - heavy

And that should be where the upcoming 'Mechs stand at this point.

The Treb is in the game because it's going to be the best medium mech on the field. People don't know the power of a medium with LRMs and TAG. Add in some jumpjets? *shudder*

Get in on the ground floor before it's FoM people.
