Simply put, the current Stats figures on profiles do little beside offer a bit of personal review. Nice, but not terribly useful.
To that end, I'd like to see two things happen:
1. Make the Stats available for view when looking at other people's profiles. It offers a little bit of visual competition between people. Whether that makes it available to all who look at your profile, or simply to friends, I could go either way on it, so both options are in the poll.
2. Expand the stats themselves:
a. Average Damage per match
b. Total Damage dealt
c. Owned mechs
d. Commonly used mechs
e. Time in-game played
f. Number of Capture assists
g. Number of Kill Assists
h. In-game Accuracy (this could take some work or be expanded)
If you all have any more ideas, as I'm sure there are many out there, let me know and I'll add them.

Should stats be visible? Don't care. They are interesting. But, shouldn't be used to judge people. They are to easly distorted by dehavior. For example: The differance between someone that spreads damage across the body to rack up total damage. Even though, not all of the damage is in a usefull place (Missiles and Lasers are real good at this). Compared to the person that doesn't care about damage and goes for the kill (Snipers, for example). This person will have less damage and more kills and/or kill assists then the person that cares about damage then actualy killing them. But, kills and kill assists can be distorted as well. By, "Kill stealers" and people that tap everyone just to get the assist. Regardless of the damage they did was meaningfull or not.
It's hard to tell to what degree a persons contribution is with the stats we do have now and these preposed ones. Damage to Center Torso and Head may help filter out the noise from people that like to pad thier stats.
Should stats be expanded? Sertainly.

I remember in World of tank, back when I was playing, stats were , and still are I believe, public for everyone to see..... and ooooh lord the flame wars that this created....
Every game you would be called a noob by someone who had higher stats than you, all the higher stats people became Elitist and would insult the lower stats...it was just.....hell....hell I say !
I dont know the community here as I am new, but one thing I know for sure is that public stats made the game lame because of people lack of maturity.

Based on the forum viewers I have seen, I feel we have a community which can display the correct amount of understanding, maturity, courtesy, and respect should statistics be viewable by everyone.
On an unrelated note, I have a bridge for sale in River City if anyone is interested.

Q: Since you have recently added that assists, spotting, and damage influence c-bills made during a match, will those statistics also be included in the profile statistics along with the kill/deaths? [Shibas]
A: We do plan to expand which statistics are shown, yes. [Garth]
