We had an atlas riding a fast dragon around 90kph the problem with the higher speed mechs seems to be angles up and down if you go up or down to fast the mech on top falls down, we also had a cataphrac ontop of a catapult ontop of an atlas, definatly funny stuff.

the mech on top is not invulnerable as others said top mechs constantly had to jump down after getting chewed up from being a sitting target for lrms and gauss/ppc

I was the guy who shot you iirc. if you shoot above the atlas, it will hit the cat hat, regardless of where the game is drawing it.
