Your first point: The same can be said about wiping them. You don't need to keep said stats to implement achievements.

Your 2nd point? It was already linked in this very thread that a final wipe was to occur upon full launch being achieved. What promise was broken when conditions have not even been fufilled?

Your 3rd point: You're going to have a much easier time achieving your K/D, and probably even improve it, on a more steady basis as you (should) know more now than you did back then.

Don't get your panties in a wad. This doesn't set you back in any inconvenient way what so ever. So you have to work on your K/D again? Big friggin whaa ...

Enjoy the game cause that's all this is: a game.

The current stats have zero use beyond massaging player ego. There's simply not enough detail currently to make any objective analysis.

I approve of a stat wipe. With additional stats added, keeping the current ones would skew the data. With a wipe it will give a much better overall impression of the players skills.

If I spent more time in the forum then the battlefield a reset would be very appealing, unfortunately for me I droped 3000 times instead.

How about they wipe your 3000 forum posts, how would you feel?

Not directed to me I know, but I wouldn't give a damn if my postcount was deleted. Why don't you try to articulate why you think your matches played counter is important?

k/d is usually good for those who have mastered only one mech and stick to it. When you master all sort of mechs you get killed a lot.

If I used only my D-DCs, my k/d would be something like 8.0-10.0.

There is nothing to loose if your post count is deleted besides, nobody cares or is interested about your post counts.

How many mechs you have killed on the other hand could get you a skin or somthing else cool maybe.

I don't even know what my stats are. It doesn't have any bearing on the game at all. If it were up to me, there would be no stat tracking- it only leads to stat padding through activities harmful to the community.

How does recieving an achievment for defeating another mech harm the community?
