Been playing for 6 years, done pretty much everything it has to offer atm. Taking a break and setting myself up for some MWO addiction instead

Favorite ship is the Harpy, and clearly, as any sensible person would say, my favorite faction is the Caldari State!

Image related, it's my character "Tractus Vesica".

I will say this about EVE, it ******* ruined just about every MMO or non-fps multiplayer game for me afterwards. Everything ends up feeling shallow and pointless with no substantial goals.
We can only dream of what would happen if Piranha and CCP teamed up to deliver a Battletech persistent univers.

The full DUST 514 keynote from FanFest 2012 can be found over yonder.
Only bad thing I can say about what I've seen so far is that it will, at least at first, only be on PS3.
This is the only thing that can get me to play EvE again.

What killed EVE for me, was the Lag Fests of 0.0 Powerblocks. The ship designers for our Alliance spent more time combatting Lag than they did making interesting ships, although they did come up with the T3 Tengu fleet. Also, you never really seemed to go anywhere, even if you Bridged half the known universe, you invariably ended up shooting TCU's since they paid the Alliance bills.
People I started with logged in less and less, Alliance politics got more and more boring, battles got bigger and bigger with more and more lag. I left because it was time, but I haven't sold my accounts. One mission runner in a Tengu and another Pilot to spend all his money. Can fly anything Caldari and Amarr, but little else.

"I made it into one of the best Alliances"
And which alliance might that be?

Not so sure but wasn't the T3 Tengu fleet a Pandemic Legion creation?
been mostly off about the 0.0 alliance tactics but i heard they used them quite effectively due some Titan bonus support or so.

CCP actually won the war on lag; they added a feature to the game called Time Dilation, or TiDi, that slows down time for a system to counteract lag. I haven't seen it in action myself, but all reports I've seen from those who have are that it's been quite a successful addition to the game.

You need to devote a lot of time to the game to make it worthwhile. MWO fills that "log on, instant PvP" need quite nicely.
Swing by sunny TXW-EI in Syndicate sometime and say "Hi" if you want, just make sure you come insured.

Considering we've never attacked your Sov I'm not entirely shocked that you managed to hold it so well.
You are our prefered space to crap up for a weekend jaunt though: Mainly because you guys actually fight. Unlike say -A-.
