I have just spent the last 9 months living up north in 0.0 in Tribute fighting Goonswarm and friends. IT was a great fight, then my corp got kicked out of its space and went on to join goonswarm friends, I quit the corp. Currently probably going to do faction warfare... Good fight goons <_<

SO the answer is, im a 2004 character with lots of inactive time, but in the last year I really got into the PVP with some good IRL friends. Now just mostly updating the training queue till i find a new pvp group.

Been playing EVE Online for about 2 years, but I stopped playing earlier this summer due to boredom. I'll be back, I did this last summer, too. <_<

I have been playing on and off since 2004. Currently fleshing out the rest of my combat ships as I have unlocked every gun in the game and just need to spend a week to finish of tech 2 rockets and light missiles. While the game can get repetitive, it is the community and my friends that keep me going back. I had the joy of fighting with CVA and then later against CVA. Left my alliance due to random idiots not listening to my intel that I gathered about enemy fleet movements and gear. Watch that alliance get betrayed a second time. (CVA betrayed us the first time.) Shot at my friend more then once due to being in opposite fleets and sold guns to my enemies and watch the ammo kill my allies. At the end of the day, it was fun. A good group of people can do that. And the best way to do that is play with people you known in real life. MechWarrior Online though is all about my 'mech fetish. If I find a good group to play with all the time, I will. PS: the Dust 514 beta is good but I am hoping the final product is more towards EVE and not Section 8 as it feels like right now.

You can contact Davor in Eve if you'd like to join the GSF, mrchi recruitment is in-depth and invasive but not quite as exclusive as GoonWaffe.

I wasted too many hours on that game. I got to a Hulk with tier 2 mining lasers, and leveled almost everything in mining and industry to lvl 4, if not lvl 5. I was a producing machine. Until I realized that salvaging was much more profitable in 0.0 space... And someone also killed my Hulk (completely decked out) in high sec space and ran away into a worm-hole leading to 0.0 sec space. A part of me died that day, and I have been forever unable to play that game again.

If you were not playing in a Corp. I can understand that. Lone Wolfing in null, and low sec space is not a good business decision.
We have weekly organized mining op's with warships on station to run off would be gankers.

If you decide to give it another chance, look us up!

Having to learn the skills to Fly the big boys is part of the game, and most of the fun!

If you like to mine, we give you a free mining barge plus the skill books to learn to fly it!
And we have an awesome profit sharing plan!

I realy liked the game at first, and i still do in theory... but in praxis it feels a lot like work to me. I'm always thinking about restarting again, but you have to invest a lot of time (or know someone in a good corp) to get to the fun stuff. Still have a few Amarr battleships sitting around in some hangar of mine... but they are of no use to a loner anyway.

If anyone wants to hang out and talk EVE or gaming in general, please feel free to look me up on www.kugutsumen.com - we have the most interesting people from across the EVE universe talking about their latest news and gossip.

I don't care what side of the game you're from and message me if you need help.

Monthly fee games are the disease of the internet. You can't get over it.
Another disease is EA and its' BF3. Pay for the game THEN notice that you have to pay more to be able to join servers without queue

World of tanks is a good example of balanced game, no pay to win there, no pay to play either.

I'm playing it to! For the start our OP just wants the friendship PLEX (Pilot License=30 days of game time=450 million ISK). So if you want to start playing Eve i can invite you) and give you the PLEX i'll recive from CCP when you buy your first month of subscribtion (in real Money or PLEX), PM me here and we can talk about EVE, if you are not sure of playing EVE.

No.... everyone is blind and doesn't see the option to buy super ammunition with better penetration and damage... no P2W, right?

I see it, but i never used it outside of clanwars or to do some testing how the HEAT mechanics work (or how they don't work.). Same for pretty much everyone on my friendlist in WoT. They are just not worth to be used in public matches by anyone who plays on a regular basis. I don't say it's not a pay-to-win element, as it certainly is. But it does not effect normal gameplay in any way i ever noticed... though you'll see people cry about goldshells, even if you pen them with regular ammo, so you could argue that they bring frustration to the game, even when not used.

Wow PLEX price has inflated huh? Back then in my days it was in the 325-375Mil ISK price...

No, you got it wrong. I don't care about the Plex. Sure I can pay for my account with it, or sell it for 500 ISK.

But one of my Corp. responsibilities is Assistant Recruitment Officer. It's my job. One for which I don't get paid.
Notice I did not give my in game name, nor ask for a PM.

Flashpoint Industries is the best Corp. I have been in since I began playing six years ago.
I just would like everyone to have as good an EvE experience as I do, not to mention our great community.

Cheers!

I played Eve in beta for 3 months. Then in release for 6 months. Then one day I woke up, and realised that most of the time I thought I'd been playing Eve I was actually asleep in my chair.

In space, no one can hear you snore.

I have a 120m skillpoint character, all non-capital ship skills. Level 5 in almost every gunnery skill, every ship command skill for ships I fly at 5, all EW skills at 5, etc. etc.

Yeah, I pretty much never log on lol.
