Hello and thank you for making this game. After playing for sometime now, I have studied a lot of the actions and game styles of many players. I've also experminted with the various mechs available in game. Aside from the netcode issue, I see lots of potential for the future of MWO. As with most people I have opinions on how to make the game better and these are my reflections of those opinions. Also, I full expect to see negative views to my opinions and people have the right to do so, it is thier opinion.

First on my list is the AMS system. I've noticed that with the sheer volume of lrms being fired in game that this system is pretty much useless unless a multitude of mechs are in the area and equipped with it. Perhaps an increase in the hit chance, say 20%, would make it more of an effective defense agaist LRM Boats. If three enemy mechs are boating lrm 15s with Artemis then you really don't have much of a chance. Add tag to that and your chance of survival is almost nil.

Second is the ECM issue. From my view, I don't have to many issues with the ecms. I run direct fire mechs with the exception of my Commando. It is equipped with ecm, ssrm, and a medium laser. Anyway, perhaps the use of an airborn thermal signature system, like a probe, launched from a mech could help non ecm capable mechs in seeing those hidden with the ecm. Maybe something like the UAV Drone that was in the 2009 video. I know the game has BAP, but that really doesn't help with ECM much and a UAV drone would be a limited timeframe item.

Third are the maps. In order for players to really enjoy the scope of the Mechwarrior Universe, they really do need to be bigger, twice the size they currently are IMO. 12-24 mechs per team would bring a lot of action into the game, even with the caps in the modes we have now. I seen concept art for a desert setting, but would like to see a swamp, forest, and open prarie setting as well.

Last on the list are the bugs. The yellow hud, "8bit" pixelation, and black screens really are annoying, but the worst is the 4fps issue. I can fight without a hud, the pixelation and blackscreen just has to be restarted, but nothing is worse than having to watch the team go off and fight knowing that you can't help because of a framerate drop. Leaving the match leaves the team short handed on all of these most times, but it also cost you in both cbills and xp. Both of which a new player needs desperately.

As I said these are my opinions and I hope that they are taking as positive feedback and not another rant about how bad the game is. Overall though I am having fun and enjoy playing in the matches I've ran. Even against premades I still enjoy myself and thats good enough for me. ^_^

Hi.

- AMSs are the reason the LRMs are boated. A lot of stock variants can launche 10 to 20 missiles, and they can't do anything because of AMS.
- If three LRM boats are punching through you, you shouldn't have anything (moreso a little 1.5 ton device) to save you. You haven't anything when three PPCs-full assaults are hitting you. Break lines of sight, it shuts down any lrm boating, artemis and TAG advantages at the same time.
- You can AMS boat by staying near friends. Even 60lrms lauchers can do much against 3 or 4 grouped AMS, often nothing at all (they kind of share the targets, it's like an umbrela !).

And lets have some more fun on the battlefield, yes. ^^

I reckon AMS will be more useful again when there is another trial mech out and/or people get bored with Stalkers.

Somethings said in the No Guts No Galaxy podcast suggest that a new bigger map is comming.

There is/was material in the game files that suggest drones might be a possibility in the future.
