i refuse to buy any more MC until pgi addresses and fixes basic game play functions. netcode is only a SMALL part of the problem and i will give some leeway there as it is a difficult one and IS being addressed, but as far as anything else...........

But for the same tonnage as a single-AC/20 Atlas, you can drop 4 or 5 Urbanmechs and SLAG the FATLAS from just beyond his maximum AC range. In a world where dropship crews won't reenter atmosphere with more than x tons aboard, Urbie becomes a viable option for putting a serious weapon platform on the ground cheap.

No drop ships. No tonnage limit. I know that it has its advantages in TT but in this game? An ac/40 cat will eat 8 of those for breakfast.

I already have the Urbie bobble-head, so I'm going to have to go with the Death's Knell. It'll be a blast to pilot it with my Urbie on the dash.
